If counseling doesn't work or isn't a realistic option, you have some hard choices to make. The Bible says not to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. If your beliefs aren't respected, that's more than an issue of personal faith, it's a matter of your rights.

At this point, I'm going to assume you've got at least some young teens. They're going to rebel no matter what you believe. If you were an atheist, believe me, they'd join a fundamentalist church just to irritate you. Don't worry about them. Pray for them, but don't worry about them.

You need to take some time to think about what will enable you to glorify God. Can you do that if you're miserable and being disrespected at home? Can you do it on your own? What have your children learned so far by the situation at home? Is it helping their spiritual growth? What would? As scary as some of the answers might be, have faith that God will help you do what's right.

I feel for you.You need to go to a counselor, the whole family. I feel for you cause my daughter is very disrespectful to me also. I feel like somedays I don't want to go on or just feel like running away. But if your kids are so outta control as you say they are maybe they need bootcamp. As for your husband,he needs to help you more. You two need to talk about this. Before something drastic happens.

There are parenting classes put on by several organizations that may be able to help you out, they will help your husband to understand what you are going through and what he needs to do to be a good parent and you need counseling.
