It is not enough to be a 'christian' you have to be a -Christ follower.
To stop the Junkie repetition....
I'd say, after true repentance and salvation you then must OVERDOSE on the Word of GOD. Or rather use this as your methadone to stop the addiction of the 'junkie repetition' as you put it
Read Read Read Read
every chance you get.
In His Word, there is pure truth and freedom from fears.

Start with the Gospel of John

welcome to the club, I am president... Practice makes perfect, but you'll always have to work on something. I am sorry there's no easy way.. Jesus didn't say it was going to be easy, He said that he will be with us to the end. And he also said to take up your cross every day and follow him.... That measn everything you've got. A person can't do it alone. What Jesus does when he saves us, he actually saves us from the power sin has over us. does that mean we never sin again??/ Wrong! We are the same people... saved peopel though don't like to stay in sin... they don't cry over spilled milk either, clean up and start freah again... Keep short accounts and don't worry about the past... That... if you accepted the supreme sacrifice for your sins. Then you don't have to carry the burden any longer...
I hope I made some sense for you....

You can't stop it forever.... it's just part of your personality, but as long as you recognise it and try to better yourself, you should be fine.

All Christians tend to forget about God sometimes... Jesus did too!

Remember that He's there whether you are thinking about Him or not. Be happy in your heart that that is the way it is!

Nothing we do will be easy or perfect. Don't worry... if God takes care of the stupid birds and squirrels and feeds them, you'l be ok!

Here's the good news. No matter how hard you try, God will always be there waiting with love. I too have moments where I fall in and out of communication, but no matter what, I know that he is there for me. I have the same relationship with my own paternal father. We can go months and years without speaking to each other, but I know that the door is always open when I land on his doorstep.

you'll get past it if you push on,

Christians might have hard live but God can do anything.

Remember God and praise God when things go bad, and things will get better.

Redemption of your sins is importent, when you are closer to God you dont want to sin anymore.

Have a good life. And dont forget God.

What exactly are you afraid of? If you repent, the fear will go away, and God will give you the strength you need to move on. But you have to really repent and be sorry. Have faith!!!!

Just faithfully hang in there and keep trying your best until the end, just like Jesus did at Calvary. God will take care of the rest.

You might want to try another religion -- there are hundreds of them to choose from. In fact, there are hundreds of "brands" of Christianity, many of which don't get obsessive about Sin.

An overdose sounds like the thing that would solve all questions, no more addiction, and you just might get to see Jesus for real!
