Adam and Eve are the only two that the Bible says were created. That does not mean that God did not create a million more people-but the Bible does not say He did. That would be important enough to mention. They had many children. Adam lived 930 years. They may have had many sets of twins or triplets-we do not know. The children had to marry each other, back then it was not incest. There was no law until Moses way later. The gene pool was free of mutations-it would not have been a problem. God had it figured out-rest assured.

It’s good to be curious and to ask questions. If we don’t ask questions we can be lead around like sheep. To answer your question, both the creation account (including Adam and Eve) and the Noah story are not original to the Bible. These stories were taken from ancient Sumerian, Babylonian and Akkadian myths. If you read these stories very carefully you will find all sorts of inconsistencies. For example, the Noah story has it raining for forty days and forty nights, it also has it raining for 100 days. Think about the story of the flood logically. Where did Noah get Penguins, Kangaroos, Koalas and Komodo Dragons, all creatures that exist in only one place on earth, and separated by oceans and thousands of miles from the Mid East? Secondly, many animals have very specific diets and eat only certain things, example Pandas eat only bamboo leaves.
The answer you’ll get from our creationist friends is that God did it. More miracles no one can proof and that make no sense at all. Do you think that Noah was a bit surprised with all of these unusual animals showing up? And by the way, why are there no Kangaroos in Asia? If they were on the Ark and got off at Mt. Ararat, did they swim back to Australia? Do you begin to see the inconsistencies in these old myths? You live in the 21st. Century, why would you waste your time believing in some myths that are thousands of years old? They belong on the same shelf as Grimm’s Fairy Tales and The Thousand and One Nights. See the link below if you want to know the real answers.

The Bible tell us that Adam and Eve were the FIRST, but it does not say the ONLY. If they were the only people to populate the Earth, then Cain wouldn't have gone to the land of Nod and known his wife (Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.)
Noah, his wife, his sons and their wives were the ones who repopulated the Earth after the Great Flood. (Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.)

Simply put, when you interpret the Bible's stories literally you create contradictions and nonsense. If you think ignorance is what religion is all about then you will find the fundamentalists' literal interpretation something you are comfortable with.
If you want to understand the world and people you have to give up a childish interpretation of the Bible and simplistic beliefs.

How we got "here" is by beleiving in this crap in the first place...
Youre absolutely right - according to the Bible, we are all a result of incestuous relations between adam and eve, or Noah and his family.... But Christians dont like when you point out glaring inconsistencies in their Bible......so be a goood sheep and just beleive!

Well, if you can't seem to make sense of it, maybe it's because IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! Yes, that's right. There's a little something called EVOLUTION, which even priests know about and acknowledge. So, why are we still having this Adam and Eve conversation?

I am also a christian, and I believe that Eve had Cain and Abel, and then reproduced with them. Then I believe Noah's sons and daughters-in law had children and then the children had children together.

MANKIND ADAM
We all have read about Cain and Abel (Gen.4:8-17)
How Cain slew Abel, and God cursed Cain and drove him out.
Then Cain said (Gen.4:14) “that every one that findeth me shall slay me”
Who is Cain worried about?
Then in (Gen.4:17) And Cain knew his wife
Where did Cain find a wife?
The answer is in the Hebrew text (Gen.1:26 and Gen.2:7).
Gen.1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: ….
The word “man” (Gen.1:26)
in Hebrew text looks like this ( ××× )
with no article means “MANKIND”
The word “man” (Gen.1:26) transliterated is (adam).
Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, ….
The word “man” (Gen.2:7)
in Hebrew text looks like this ( ×ת־×××× )
with article and particle means “THIS SAME MAN ADAM”.
The word “man” (Gen.2:7) transliterated is (eth-Ha adham).
So on the sixth day God created or made MANKIND.
On the eighth day God formed THIS SAME MAN ADAM.

From our modern point of view, yes, we would call this incest. But remember in the bible....these people would have had to interbreed, since they were the "first" people. God did not make this "interbreeding" taboo until the Levitical laws.
It seems sickening to us...but we look at it from our modern perspective.
