The Bible tells us that hell is where all people go who die, both good and bad. It is the grave and the first person to go there was Abel, because his brother Cain, murdered him. The churches of Christendom teach that God tortures humans forever in a horrible place, but that is not true. God is love and does not torture anyone. In fact when a person dies, they feel nothing and are aware of nothing as these Scriptures assure us:
Ecclesiastes 9:5: " For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--"
Ecclesiastes 9:10: "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."
Psalms 146:4: " His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish."
Satan will be eliminated soon along with death and hell. All will be gone forever.
Revelation 20:13,14: " And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

Hello friend,
The battle was between Michael and Lucifer. See Rev.12:7.
Lucifer was cast out of Heaven before Adam and eve were created.
Look at Ezek. 28:14 and Isa.14:12 and following.
God's Book does not say when Hell was made, but you can read more in Mat.25:41 about Hell and why it was made.
Incidentally, Satan has never been in Hell (yet) but look at Rev.20:10 to see what awaits him, and his followers.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

2Chr.28:1-4; Jer.7:30.31; 19:2-5; Mark 9:42-48; in the days of Jesus as Josiah turned Gehenna, Tophet or the valley of the son of Hinnom into a city dump, and we all know what a city dump is for.
These people burned their children in the fire to their gods.
As for tartarus Jude 6; 2Pet.2:4; the angels that can not die, still wait judgement day since the flood in this hell, as for Jesus Acts 2:31; John 19:38-42; He was in sepulchre hell. We call it a tomb, a cave, a grave, burial grounds or cemetery. Rev.20:1-6,12,13; the sea, hell, death and any where the dead is, they are resurrected.
1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto men once to die and after that the judgement.

2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment:
God created hell for the fallen angels, an event which took place before Eden, as proved by the above verse, which clearly speaks in the past tense.
For unknown reasons, some fallen angels don't have to go there yet. Others are there now.

In my opinion, Hell was created when the first human completely, totally, and consciously turned his or her back on God. Maybe I can expand that to include angels (Lucifer)... for me, Hell is the state of being in the total ABSENCE of God, which can only be achieved by putting one's self there.

would you not accept that hell might be a frame of mind and take into consideration that life as we precieve it to be may not/is not the same existence as others not so fortunate... some people are "living the nightmare"
but from where i stand in life, i believe that if we have a clear conscience and have done no serious harm to others that we will find peace in some form or other.....
and also if we have committed some kind of serious harm to someone that then we have something to worry about

Im not sure. The Bible does not say to my knowledge.
My guess is that God created Hell when he created everything else.

No one knows that, many believe it was before creation of the earth. We do not know when Eve sinned.
