...why don't you realize that--by continued harping, preaching, witnessing, or whatever in your efforts to lead as many as possible to Christ--so many times you are actually achieving the opposite of your goal and actually causing people to stay further and further away from the church, religion, and/or God--period?

Don't you get annoyed or offended when someone repeatedly questions your own faith? Doesn't it offend you when someone of another faith tells you you're going to hell because you're not a member of their church? So, who are you to do the same to another?

And have you ever heard the phrase "less is more?"

whyaskdon has been hijacked.

Someone is asking terrible questions using whyaskdon as an identity.

Someone is trying to ruin the reputation of someone else because they don't like the answers he is giving.

Please lets all tell Yahoo Answers that this is unacceptable. I, myself, don't want to be a part of this anymore unless Yahoo Answers can give us some assurance that we are not going to get hijacked.

I once read some evangelical article where a guy was feeling guilty over wanting to read a novel, as if he was plotting to kill someone. It seems like evangelicals believe anything less than dropping everything and wanting to be a missionary is a sin. It's hard enough just to avoid temptations like sex, but reading a novel.

Wikipedia and most dictionaries claim Mormon should only refer to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Should splinters of the group be called something else?

If God exist, then he would have known that we were not ready for the belief in religion. The Bible has nothing to do with this question so no Biblical quotes please, it would be a waste of energy seeing as how I have read it from front to back many times. So many wars are started in the name of religion, if God exist then he would have know that we were not ready for religion, was it a mistake by God, or just a made up thing by man, and as we all know man makes mistakes all the time. What if God hates religion? What if God hates when people say things in his name? What if God spoke to those who wrote the books of the Bible and those men understood him wrong, what if God does not like to repeat him self? What if faith is a sin and someone didn’t understand this so they left it out of the Bible? What if the whole world is simply just full of crap and they don’t know it?

I find it very disheartening that our Muslim sisters in the United States are so loose in their values. I ask my brothers(no sisters, please), what can we do to stop this ? You all know what I mean- women who do not stay quiet in the Masjid(mosque). Women who dress like prostitutes and do not dress modestly. Sometimes I wish I were in Saudi Arabia or Iran where women know their place in the Ummah.

I mean no disrespect to my Muslim sisters out there. Some of you do know what submission is, and I thank you. For the rest of you, I pray that Allah will show you your failings.

People want to take God out of school. why is that? The Ten Comandments are not aloud in court rooms no more why? How come Christians must be silent when it comes to there opinions but Athiests can speak about there opinions? Why is it we learn about other Religions but can't learn about Christianity? Why do people put down not only Christians but any God Believing Religion? Please real answers.

Why do some Christians, and I do stress some. I know not all Christians feel this way, but why do some Christians feel as though science seeks to disprove the existence of God? Science is a tool not a religion. Science is simply a tool used to observe the nature of things, that’s all nothing more. Why do some Christians feel so threatened by it? It is an objective view of things with the physical data that is observed. A lot of scientist believe in God and are still able to look at the nature of things objectively. Why can’t all people do this, it’s obviously doing something right, your typing on your computer right now, right? Why is it so bad, why can't some see that the tool is not bad just the people that abuse it.

It is understandable that people celebrate various holidays. However, there are certain holidays that people celebrate but do not know why they are celebrating it. Perhaps this is the case with you. Take Christmas for instance. If you knew the origin of Christmas, would you still celebrate it? These are the facts that people fail to know because the accurate questions are not asked. If you were to ask your family and friends why do they celebrate Christmas, what is their reaction? Are they too embarrassed to answer that question? Do they brush you off? Do they know? Do they care?

What are your thoughts regarding the origin of Christmas? Even if you knew the origin of this holiday, would you still celebrate it? Hit me up with some answers.

Thanks,
