No Presents For Christmas
Christmas time is here again
Santa needs a helping hand
We cannot find his evil sheet
To draw his laying for the night
So all the waiting christmas trees
Gonna hear their master sing....
There's no presents, Not this Christmas
There's no presents
Tom and Jerry, Drinking Sherry
They don't give a damn
Christmas time is here again
Santa needs a helping hand
It's getting very, very late
St.Peter's crossed the Golden Gate
An Donald Duck is still in bed
I wonder who he's gonna help
There's no presents, Not this christmas
There's no presents
Tom and Jerry, All done Sherry
They don't give a damn
There's no presents, Not this Christmas
There's no presents
Tom and Jerry, Still Drinking Sherry
They don't give a damn
I'm dreaming of a white.... Sabbath....

so do you have a tv, a car, are you going to deprive your kids of toys because they are material and mean nothing in the after life? The way I see you might as well take all the money you make and blow it on the crap that you want to do and want to have its not being materalistic its called enjoying the short time that you have to live.
Besides I can be burried with all my stuff if i want and thats good enough for me

You don't get a consolation prize for dying with the fewest toys, either.
Enjoy life while you can. Just say no to asceticism.

you don't take material things with you but you do go somewhere heaven or hell.
Jesus loves us all very much! And you ask him into your heart and believe that he died for your sins and you will be saved. He says he walks beside you always and in the roughest times of your life he carries you.

Nope, you can't take it with you.
Enjoy life but help others enjoy it too.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow LOVE;
Where there is injury, let me sow PARDON;
Where there is doubt, let me sow FAITH;
Where there is despair, let me sow HOPE;
Where there is darkness, let me sow LIGHT;
Where there is sadness, let me sow JOY
For I shall pass through this world but once. Any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

I agree, but everyone seems to concentrate on their toys to the exclusion of everything else.

The way I see it is "if you live like there is no God or Jesus, only to find out in the end there is, it's gonna be a pretty sad eternity.

That statement means spend it while you can and enjoy life rather than save your money for the future.
