I don't think you ever can stop desiring or craving. I simply think it's part of human nature, though it may be selfish and immature sometimes. All you can do is live life as best as you can, obviously and do what you want, obviously keeping in my mind that there are other people around.

Pray and ask help from God to release all the selfish desires that the devil have trapped you into. tell God you only want to worship and desire him, not material things. Trust me, if he knows you want to stop, he'll help and forgive you, only if you ask for it. And at least try, as long as you have God on your side setting your mind straight, and you know you want to stop, you will eventually, but its really hard, because once you stop praying the devil will come right back and trick you.

You don't, it's a natrual hormone of the female and male bodies. Hormones from the brain gets released into the blood stream causing these "cravings". The best way to get rid of them (if you truly want to admit that the human body and it's functions, the creation of your God, is truly sinful) is if you take medications to stop the hormones.

Put everyone else before you. Make sure everyone else is fed before you have yours. Be humble. Let go of your ego. Thats a start.

the short answer is you can't. desire is in human nature. God did this to test us. we can pray for guidance and we can avoid the desire but we can never be rid of it.
