If God exist, then he would have known that we were not ready for the belief in religion. The Bible has nothing to do with this question so no Biblical quotes please, it would be a waste of energy seeing as how I have read it from front to back many times. So many wars are started in the name of religion, if God exist then he would have know that we were not ready for religion, was it a mistake by God, or just a made up thing by man, and as we all know man makes mistakes all the time. What if God hates religion? What if God hates when people say things in his name? What if God spoke to those who wrote the books of the Bible and those men understood him wrong, what if God does not like to repeat him self? What if faith is a sin and someone didn’t understand this so they left it out of the Bible? What if the whole world is simply just full of crap and they don’t know it?

What if religious people are depriving themselves of some things in life not because it’s God’s will but because it’s the will of someone who thinks they should live the way that they deem fit? Maybe religion is simply a human tool like science? Any tool used by humans can be abused, history teaches us that. Any tool used by human hands is fallible, for a tool is only as affective as the hand that wields it and human hands are very fallible.

You are right. Religion is a tool used to scare and control persons of sub-standard intelligence. (Of course, every single person imagines that he is brainy, but that can't be helped).

I have also read the Bible from cover to cover and agree that it is crap.

Unfortunately many refuse to take responsibility for their own actions, irrespective of religion. Wars seem to be the will of man, not the will of God.
There is justification in spirituality for pre-emptive war, but I can't even recall those circumstances existing except perhaps under Hitler.

Religion is dogma..it's pretty much whatever your interpretation of your God is. Anyone can call themselves a religion it seems now days, no matter how ludicrous their beliefs.

The Bible can't be taken literally. Much of it has been edited and excluded by the church of England and it's various Kings. We will never know the truth in that regard.

True God, no matter what you call him, is love. Not hatred, killing, greed, selfishness, bloodshed. One day we will all understand this very real truth. Since I have died and been revived several times, I was allowed a glimpse into that transitional state.

God isn't up there judging you and throwing hellfire at you for your minor transgressions here on earth. He is a forgiving God.

You may get away with some really bad stuff while you're here on this plane, but believe me, when the time comes, you'll be sorry you were such a rotten person.

Focus on what's in your heart and your good deeds...love others, help others always. You'll be richly rewarded for having a kind, gentle soul!

Honestly! I have never known a more annoying self righteous bunch of morons than the Satanists, Luciferians and Atheists on this site. You must all be adolescents. You just go on and on about the same meaningless spoiled child sulking rubbish over and over again. You aren't interested in answers. You just want somebody to agree with you again and again. Just at least come out with something well thought out and challenging instead of this constant pile of rubbish. You are as irritating as those Christian fundamentalist types that can't write a sentence without putting a biblical quote in it.

You clearly have not read the bible at all.

In answer to your question here are some qotes that may explain:

Where God builds his Church, the devil builds his chapel.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

They say there's enough religion in the world to make men hate each other but not enough to make them love.

Now stop whining!

rltouhe: If you had read the Qur'an you would know that it says in the surah Al Ankabut, If the Jews ask which God do you worship tell them: the same God as you but through Islam.

Al Baqarah says The Jews, the Christians, The Muslims, the Sabeans and all those who work righteousness shall have their reward in heaven.

Maybe you should hold your tongue till you know what you're talking about before you bring out more hatred and conflict.

And have you ever thought if you were wrong? War is wrong. It's sad that people are killing each other. Humans are not perfect because they have free will. They get distracted, they make mistakes, etc.
God is perfect and All Knowing. He gave man religion as a guide and without religion we would all be lost. Religion is for man to differentiate between right and wrong. Some simply choose to ignore the truth and others are ignorant and prefer not to think for themselves and follow the crowd.
Because there are so many differences, there will be bound to be some problems which lead to war. People need to learn to live in harmony but it's all politics nowadays playing with the minds of the people for their own benefits.

Ironically God is possibly Man's most immoral construct. Science has uncovered an incredible amount of non-crap and we may be just at the beginning so there is plenty to hope for.
You can stop beating yourself up about seeing the truth regarding the bible, move on and start doing practical work that helps now.

God does hate religion. I thought that Muslims believed in Allah so why ask these questions of your God? My God said that war is necessary when we have to defend ourselves from attacks.
What if the Allah you followed is really Jehovah and your people understood it wrong when they wrote the Quran?
Sin is when man does what is wrong and the wages of it is death. That is why Jehovah sent his Son. He knew that we could not pay the debt ourself.
If you don't want the Bible brought into this conversation then you must leave the Word Bible out of it.

As a child I was led to believe that God loved all people regardless. Yet today if you are not of a certain church you will get no assistance or love until you convert. I don't think God likes the way we use Him to justify our actions. "Do unto others as you would have done unto you" and "God helps those who help themselves" are the only quotes that will change the world the way it is today. Everything else is irrelevent in the bible.

Lol, there is ONLY ONE RELIGION that teaches NOT to go to war and that is Jehovah's Witnesses. Also, God doesn't make mistakes, and He used the Holy Spirit to write the Bible THROUGH these men, it was if God was proof-reading it when it was being written.

lots of grounds for debate. Maybe true faith is blind after all. Just think of the innocence of children ;who believes everything the adult spoon-fed them. True, wars came about in the name of religion from the time of the crusades; to modern day. Just like the atrocities committed by the terrorists supposedly in the name of Allah. Allah stands for peace and love. But then, remember man has free will. God didn't direct him to go to war per se.
Any ulterior motives given by man to go to war even in the name of God .......isn't God's will . It's man's free will.

are you sure you read the Bible properly? if you did, you'll see that it's all depending on faith. you either accept or deny the plan God has for you. His plan of salvation is so perfect and simple to follow when you accept it and involve yourself in his grace through Jesus Christ. Just taste and see that God is good and faithful. all this war is our fault + fufillment of prophecy; there's so much misunderstanding and misinterprating. the only truth is found in the Bible; and in it there's peace.
