Would we put instances of famous out of body explorers, psychic predictions, shamanistic ceremonies, mysteries of the stars, our scientific advancement, rituals we use to bring like minds together, examples of modern day spiritual healers, stories of rags to riches because of self-determintation. It seems like god never left, did it. History does teach us alot of important lessons, but things are happening now too. It seems like the bible was a compilation of all the above. If you weed out all the judging stuff, I think we got something here. Get curious, learn other cultures. We are all brothers and sisters right. Love is eternal, even now.

She was 64 a 6th grade teacher from New Zealand. My best friend for over 10 years. She was about 18 years older than me. We enjoyed shopping, traveling, and working together. She was an animal lover also. I miss her terribly. Would like a poem or prayer that I could share with others trying to let them know how much she ment to me and so she won't be forgotten by others that maybe didn't know her or understood her. If you don't have a nice answer please do not reply. I couldn't take something derrogative today. Thanks a million.

If you believe that the Bible gives us a LITERAL explanation of how we came to be, how do you explain racial differences?

Tom: God may or may not exist. I don't know either way.

Bill: Don't be a doofus, Tom. God can't possibly exist.

Tom: Can you show me why God can't exist?

Bill: You can't prove a negative. You have to prove to me that God exists.

Tom: But I didn't say God exists. I said he might exist. I also acknowledge that he might not exist. You are the one claiming certain knowledge that God doesn't exist. You must have arrived at that position through some reasoning process. Clue me in.

Bill: You are a brainwashed idiot!

Is the burden of proof on Tom or Bill?

If the bible tomorrow said that being gay was right and being straight was wrong would you change. If God changed the bible himself and tested you like he tested many people in the bible. If he wanted to make sure, you were not just a hypocrite. Would you change your lifestyle? Would you be ok with never being with someone of the opposite sex?

I respect anyone, as long as they respect me. But why do christians and catholics try to change people? I am who I am and not going to change my beliefs. I don't push my religion or beliefs on anyone, but I think it is really disrespectful for people to try and push their religion on others and saying that people that don't believe are "sinners" and "going to hell" etc. What's up with that?

Joseph is not Jesus earthly father because God is right? So therefore how can Jesus lineage be traced to David through Joseph when Joseph was not Jesus' father?

When President CLINTON was committing adultery in the OVAL OFFICE of the WHITE HOUSE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, you didn't hear us Christian folk calling him names and hating him! We STOOD BEHIND OUR PRESIDENT, even though we didn't agree with his DISPICABLE ACTS OF ADULTERY!

Why do the LIBERAL SATANISTS and ATHIESTS call a good GOD-FEARING, GOD-LOVING, GOD-WILLING President bad names and hate him so much!

It just shows CHRISTIANS are more tolerant and we are not hypocrytical! We TOLERATED Clinton like JESUS would have. The LIBERALS won't TOLERATE BUSH but they want US TO TOLERATE the homosexuals, criminals, and the ISLAM terrorists here in OUR COUNTRY!

Is it probable that ones environment is a subconscious manifestation of an independent internal state? And that all these intern state fit together like a puzzle, creating the collective landscape of experience? Conversely is it possible to make an internal change, manifesting through time into external ramifications?

Teaching about adultery: Matthew 5:28-29. Do you think he would be put away in some insane asylum for doing it, even though he insisted he followed religious scripture?
"But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So if your eye- even if it is your good eye-causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away.It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."
SERIOUS INQUIRIES PLEASE

I know her racket doesn't rake in as much loot as the christian one, but all those teeth surely must add up over the time. Do you think she has multi-million dollar second homes in Florida like most of those pastors of the mega-churches and the televangelist?

AND don't try to say she isn't real. That is what the intellectuals have said about God, and that hasn't stop the money from flowing into the churches. You just have to have faith.

This ? brought to you by a Christian answer on a different question.

So, which is it? We have atheists who think they are smarter than Christians because they have it all figured out and have managed to think their way out of having to believe in religions.

On the other hand we have Christians telling everyone they are going to hell for not believing in Christ, forming their own Christian clubs, requiring others to conform to their view points in many cases (think gay marriages etc.)

So who is more elitist?

Today at work, me and a friend were talking and agreeing with each other in a very open-minded way. We built off of each others ideas until a creative flow overtook both of us and we had great ideas just pouring out. I think this is what synergy is. It reminds me of the verse about a church or god being where two or more people gather together. It also reminds me of magnetism. I definately felt "in tune" with my friend. Was that verse aimed towards like minded people and shared experiences with a like understanding? Is this creative flow a link to the creator(god). It seems like we try hard to bring our ideas into objects. This seems like a creation, our creation. In a sense are we imitating god?

Had a load of interesting answers to the last logic question.
The most revealing is the Preachers wife who asserts that"christians do not need to argue because they have the bible...."
Ok. Which bible? And do ALL christians use the same bible? Why all the different denominations then?

Logical answers welcome! Haters save your fingertips !!
