Without the Universe ALGORE would not have anything to cure, nothing to invent, and nothing to save.
He could not cure global warming.
There would have been no reason for him to invent the Internet.
There would be no mankind for him to save.

Al Gore didn't invent the universe, although he is concerned about the future of the universe, and especially the Earth he lives on.
Al Gore invented the algorithm, instead. :)

He had to find something with more space in it than the space inbetween his ears. He invented the universe just like he invented the internet! He let someone else do it and took credit for it!

Al did that too? Could be because of Jimmy Carter, he screwed up the country and wanted to make a name for himself, so he's more famous now for trying to screw up the world. Gore wants his legacy now.
