Would we put instances of famous out of body explorers, psychic predictions, shamanistic ceremonies, mysteries of the stars, our scientific advancement, rituals we use to bring like minds together, examples of modern day spiritual healers, stories of rags to riches because of self-determintation. It seems like god never left, did it. History does teach us alot of important lessons, but things are happening now too. It seems like the bible was a compilation of all the above. If you weed out all the judging stuff, I think we got something here. Get curious, learn other cultures. We are all brothers and sisters right. Love is eternal, even now.

An interesting question based on an impossible "If." Only a bible that is not actually God's very Word could disappear. If the Bible is valid in it's claims that it is the Word of God, then it shall enure forever. Psalm 100:5 "..the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His TRUTH endureth to all generations." So, if the Bible disappears, then it is not actually God's word, because that very event would prove Psalm 100:5 to be wrong.

As for the "judging" part, one of the most interesting truths of the Bible is this:

God, who is perfect, righteous, and holy, and who has a passion for His own name, forgives sinners, who trample His glory into the ground by breaking His law!

How can God maintain the upholding of His glory, and still pardon sinners?

He had to kill His own Son to do it. In Christ's death, God's glory is upheld and vindicated, and the ungodly are pardoned.

God judged that our sin was offensive to Him and worthy of death. Then He killed His own Son to pay for it. That is how God judges sin. Its SOO bad, He had to slay Christ to uphold His own name before all creation!

As long as we are a superstitious species and need "spiritual" reasssurance to get through our lives, some other religion would spring up to fill the void. There are too many ignorant and gullible people that need conning with a scam of this nature - they'd rather believe in fairy tales than live with facts.

You can destroy the written word, But God's word will never change, and we already have, so many translations out there that are false. the reality is Jesus Christ is Lord! And he is the
living word of God. Rewriting the Bible, is like trying to create God in your image. And sorry God doesn't conform to us. Try learning about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity, Seek to learn of Him, he is ever waiting to recieve you into his arms.

It's a moot point because the Bible will never disappear. And there's nobody doing anything today that hasn't been mentioned in one way or another in the Bible.
