it seems from the beginning of time that we have killed eachother from the time of the crusades on...due to religion. the everlasting fighting of the christians, jews and muslims is all religion based. are we doomed as human beings because of religion and the conflicts it has aroused? or is it all just the nature of man to kill one another and to say it is just because god has willed it? please be elaborate! thanks

I keep a notebook next to my computer and when I picked it up today there was a note on it written upside down which said "Ghosts need a vote".

The hand writing looks like my own, but I don't remember writing it, and I certainly don't remember being upside down recently.

A teacher at my community college has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, which has proven to be a very aggressive cancer for her. Her chemotherapy treatments are making her very sick, even up to 3 and 4 days at a time (and then it's back for another treatment). She has an 18 year of daughter that she is trying to support, even though she has been unable to work in several months. Her daughter's car is messed up and since she has been unable to work, cannot afford to have it fixed or help the daughter out with getting insurance after it is fixed (she can't even afford to put her daughter on her insurance policy). Her ex-husband is a deadbeat alcoholic dad who isn't even trying to help them.

Please, everyone regardless of spiritual beliefs, pray for this sweet lady and her daughter.

Sincerest thanks and brightest blessings to all!

We think you're brainwashed because

1. The belief in God was ingrained in most of you at a very young age

2. Plenty of Atheists have been told that they are going to hell. This is proof that fear is connected to your belief

3. Lots of God believers comments are really not their own but bible scriptures

Hey fellow christians.i am worried..i have seen how some of us are trying to present God's word to others and it frightens me! I have noticed (being human and imperfect) we let anger & definsivness get in the way and that can damage our witness thus the 1'st part of proverbs states Proverbs 15:17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly..and Ephisians 4:26 tells us to be angry and sin not! Ephisians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers..by pushing our views on people we are pushing them away and doing wrong.God tells us in his word to plant the seed in other minds.in other words he tells us to present the word.now he didn't say to plant it then try to make it grow!.we are simply the sowers and God takes care of the rest.also remeber that our Lord won us over through love not anger or hate...

Actually shouldn't one believe that a follower of a certain religious faith is probably more aware of what they believe than another outside that faith? I would and do. I would also say that to take answers from someone who left that faith is a lot like taking a reference concerning a job from a disgruntled employee.

The last question/request I posted was a request for positive thoughts or prayers. Some very kindly souls responded to this request, God love them all. The issue has resolved in my favour against all the odds. I've just now gotten the word. I'm not a big believer in coincidence. What do you think of that!?

I am on to you and your devil's contract, I know of your payments in the form of the flesh of sin in exchange for your efforts to create doubt and corrupt good decent Christians.

I have prayed to god asking him to send a messenger to banish you, and spread warning amongst true Chrstians, and alas, he has sent me. Your time of evil is over, go back to be with your master amongst the pits of fire and brimstone.

Please be honest and don't even say that I am going to hell for asking such a question. And please do not mention about the Bible and Jesus Christ.

If anyone can ask for forgiveness in the Catholic church, and go to heaven even after sinning, then why do people go to hell, wouldn't MOST, just ask for forgiveness and if they are forgiven, what's that say for all of us who have done right our whole lives???

Having faith is the excuse for

1. Not having answers

2. Not questioning your belief

3. believing without investigating

4. getting out of a losing debate

5. forcing yourself to believe to prevent going to hell(which is fake)

I see a lot of self proclaimed Christians on here answering questions posed by heretics, forcing them to make idiotic choices between their earthly connections and god's power. Why do you answer?

You do realize these people are just playing "devil's advocate" don't you? You realize that these people are named such, because they are sent here by satan to test your faith.

I'm sorry if you have failed that test, but you will ultimately have deserved your fate either way.

Would God expect His creation "humans" to forgive and not be an example and practice forgiveness to His creation "Angels" as well?

Biblical questions should only be backed with scripture from the Bible... If you don't know the Bible enough to comment....Turn of your computer and go read God's Word (Bible)... it's more important than anything you are doing ...Please come back with God's knowledge and not man's opinions and answer the question... It's a challenge.

Jesus, please save my brother Mel from the grip of the demon booze. He has proven his loyalty to you, Jesus, and has shown the WAY to others seeking to be saved! Oh Lord, please take me Home. Take me Home NOW! Spare me any further suffering in this cruel worldly existance. Forgive Mel, he is a sinner and truly means well. Yesterday, he tithed the church 30 million dallars! Please Lord, take me Home!

Baaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrffffffffffffffffff !!!!

I use the Bible pages all the time to roll myself cigarettes. It's a pleasure to smoke the scriptures. Finally a good use for the Bible. I also use the Bible to level tables an chairs, to stomp bugs and spiders, to start stove and camp fires, as a target for my pellet gun. To wipe a dirty surface.

Can you think of other uses for the Bible ?
