look dear.God has given us brains to think and find out the truth.don't believe it's a sin to think about it.about the translation, probably it's true.even in most copies u'll find that if a word in the original language can have 2 meanings ,they are all written.that's beside it's revised 100 times b4 u get the copy between your hands.too many thikers looked that up,and they learned the original languages and compared the copies.there is also something amazing.do u know when they compared historic events and geographical features that are written in the bible ,they found it's absolutely accurate.for example
1-the history of jews and that they were servants in egypt ,it's all written on the walls of egyptian temples.
2-the 7 years of wealth and 7 years of starvation that was written in Joseph's story, that was also proved
3-scientists and ppl who write the history wrote about the darkness and earthquakes when jesus died.that was reported even without knowing about Jesus.
and many more things.
if u r still confused about that the bible may have been falsified contact me and i'll give u proofs with evidences.Jesus loves u

I am of the Christian Faith, and yes, I question The Bible. I use the King James 1611 for most reading. And I questin even that which is the best english translation. There is no inerrant copy of "The Bible" in existance today... All are copies of copies of fragments of copies of translations done many years ago...ALL of the original text dictated by God to the original scribes has long ago been lost to us...

To day it is only possabel to bring out God's Word, in the Bibles we have, if the study is done by the leading of The Holy Spirit.

here is the direct link to the Bible page of my website if you would like to read more about The Bible:

As I am not a Christian and yet most people around me are, I frequently do. : ) I have issues with the Bible for two reasons. The first is that it seems to be just another example of people trying to create a supernatural being to explain phenomenon and experiences around them that are so sublime that they seem to be the work of a higher being. However, modern science has, for all practical purposes, disproven seven-day creationism, and as physics, biology, and astronomy probe further into the nature of reality, there's not much left that lacks explanation by a natural process that could go on without the intervention of a sentient God. The more important issue that I have with the Bible is that it is divisive- if you don't believe in the God of Abraham, then you go to hell. Yet, a lot of Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, etc. don't believe in God but still manage to lead moral, happy lives. I don't necessarily think that the majority of the world lives properly and by the moral standards that they should (I don't think that I do either), but I think that to promote that sort of judgmental attitude towards all who don't hold your particular belief can only be damaging.

yes. Different bibles give different answers. some are wrong.. stick to a good bible.
Unknown authors give bad answers. Remember God didn't write the bible..man wrote the bible.. some didn't do their home work..

I did before I began studying it in depth. I did not realize that I could trust it 100% as the inspired word of God.

After ten years of very diligent study, I have come to believe it's given by inspiration of God, as it states. What is amazing to me is how many people get very upset at that!

Yes. I think that explore debating, search for God is good for spiritual growth...as long as this search is done in sincerity and love.

God want us to investigate, learn, and explore His message of universal love.
