Would God expect His creation "humans" to forgive and not be an example and practice forgiveness to His creation "Angels" as well?

Biblical questions should only be backed with scripture from the Bible... If you don't know the Bible enough to comment....Turn of your computer and go read God's Word (Bible)... it's more important than anything you are doing ...Please come back with God's knowledge and not man's opinions and answer the question... It's a challenge.

Um, I think some of your answerers are missing the point of your question. Or perhaps I am. From my perspective you're not asking whether or not God will forgive fallen angels, nor even whether or not they can or will be saved. Your clarification poses the question should WE forgive them, regardless of what God chooses to do with them?

Well, I'm no holy man. In fact if you knew me I'd probably be considered by you to be one of the worst. But I do know the scriptures.

Paul, to the Romans, wrote in Chpt. 9:

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. (TO HATE, AND TO BE A RESPECTER OF PERSONS IS UNRIGHTEOUS)
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. (GOD IS AT LIBERTY TO CHOOSE)
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth amercy. (WE ARE NOT, OF OUR WILL AND IDEAS TO DETERMINE WHO DESERVES MERCY, BUT RATHER IT IS GOD'S DOMAIN)
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. (EVEN THE WICKED HAVE A PURPOSE IN THE PLAN)
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. (AGAIN, IT'S GOD'S CHOICE TO EXERCISE HIS PLAN IN MERCY OR OTHERWISE)
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? (IT IS NOT FOR US TO DETERMINE HOW OR WHEN GOD WILL FIND FAULT, EVEN IF FAULT IS FOUND AMONG THOSE WE WOULD NOT EXPECT)
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? (WE SHOULD NOT COUNSEL GOD)
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory (UPON GOD'S CREATIONS HE WILL, OF HIS CHOOSING, SHOW FORTH WRATH OR MERCY)

Matt 6 also says,

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

I suppose what I'm saying (and what I'm reading) is that it is put to us to forgive, and to judge neither God nor man, leaving judgement and justice to God alone. So yes, it's up to us to forgive.

BTW: Your tone to all who considered this question could have been put no more eloquently by the Pharisees themselves. Do you possess the honesty to acknowledge the correctness of my response, as well as the truthfulness of my accusation?

The angels that sinned can not repent and be forgiven because they decided to follow the devil and they will pay the devil's punishment as well. They were judged and found guilty. Humans are still to be judged in the last day(Great White Throne Judgement).
2 Peter 2:4 - For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

2 Peter 2:11 - Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

Jude 1:6 - And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Revelation 9:14 - Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Revelation 9:15 - And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Revelation 12:7 - And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Revelation 12:9 - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

The Bible does not have direct answers to all of peoples questions. With that said, all that I can offer you is something to think about.

1. Keep in mind that the angels that have fallen were at one time in the presence of GOD.

2. After having been in the glorious presence of GOD, the angels still chose to rebel against GOD.

3. Therefore, it's not a matter of repentance, but a matter of hardened hearts. They see GOD the way the Devil sees GOD. They choose not to repent!!!

Hebrews 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

I do not think the Bible talks about this specific question except to speak to the justice and mercy and grace of God as illustrated throughout the 66 books. Logic would dictate that if God is who He claims to be, He gave all the fallen angels enough time to repent before they made their minds up permanently. Also it follows that all humans will have the same opportunity.

By "scripture from the Bible" I guess you're talking about your King James. Well, the story about Satan raising up a rebellion in heaven and a battle ensuing between the archangel Michael and the good angels against Satan and the bad (fallen) angels is not even in your Bible. Yet, that's how we got fallen angels, but that story comes from the Book of Enoch. And that's only found in the Ethiopian Bible, not yours. What do you do now?

No, Because fallen angels were already given a choice. They chose to go against God. There was most certainly a lot more things going at that time -- beyond what the Bible reveals.

Lucifer was conspiring against God and started gathering up his own army of angels. The angels that chose to Lucifer side were eternally damned, along with Lucifer. That is why they are referred to as "Fallen Angels".

The same goes with humans. You have the same choice. Follow God or follow your own desires -- which is essentially rebelling against God.

If you choose the latter, according to the Bible, you'll end up in hell -- and eventually thrown in the Lake of Fire -- forever and ever.

You cannot repent beyond a certain point.

The point beyond return for humans is death.

The point beyond return for angels is mark of Damnation that God places on them (Fallen Angel).

I will not attempt to answer your question but only pose another for you to ask yourself. What if God chose not to forgive them does God have a higher power to consult on such matters or is He nothing more than a cosmic bell boy people can sit and question His intentions? God is eternal He is everywhere and through all and in all can He not be entitled to make such a choice to destroy those that have blasphemed His way? "Knowledge man's final strike" WBL Hope this helps oh P.S I do know a bit about the bible I figured you may just like to think of obsure questions to try to make people stumble so I kept my peace Takecare

Jesus died for man's sake, not the angels. Angels were created as a lower life form, simply to minister, give messages, and worship God. if an angel, created simply to do the Will of God and man (created in God's image) won't do what he was created to do, he has no place in the kingdom. The rules of sin and forgiveness and redemtion cannot apply to these beings. Did I get it?

Definitely not ,your talking about two separate things, angels sole purpose is to worship and serve God in heaven and in the earth..that service takes different forms and functions. They don't have feelings like us and are in no way made like us.Angels are pure spiritual beings thats why their power is higher than ours, they can take on human form. But God says that one day we will be made higher than them. we can be saved, angels can"t be saved(salvation),they don't need to that's not thier function. They also can't marry or have sex or reproduce.Blessings VIJ

angels were created knowing and being far more capable than humans they are really intelligent and had full knowledge of what is good and what is bad. they could choose to be good or bad and that choice was final. they cant change becuase they arent physical or in time, they are spirits. humans on the other hand live in time and time means you can have change.
