I have 2 Muslim friends and after 9/11, I was very upset to hear them all put in the same category.
I wanted to understand, so I did read the Quran.
With my friends help, I learned that Muslims are not terrorists.
They are kind and gentle people that have gotten a bad rap.
Just like people perceive now that all priests are pedophiles due to a few bad ones.
Stereotyping is not a good thing.
I read a lot of harsh thinks written in these questions and answers and wonder how much of these opinions are due to narrow mindedness.
I am Christian BTW and my attitude is that of God loving person.

No I haven't read the Koran but have seen a few scriptures from it. I personally think it's garbage. Folks that read that stupid thing are stupid to say it's great. So it is ok to beat the hell out of women and kill people who don't believe in your religion? Well I don't see that as a religion it is terroism. If you would actually read the Holy Bible you would realize that it's prophecy is true of course you would also have to know your history to see this. We are on the verge I would like to help people who read that thing and believe it. But I wouldn't mind reading the whole thing to prove how false it is. You want truth e-mail me and I will show you truth.

No, but I hope to read it someday...
I'm a Christian and have some Muslim friends and even have relatives who married Muslims... Though I never asked them if I could have an English version of the Koran/Quran... Or if they can read it to me... Or translate parts of it...

I find it interesting to read/know more about other religions...
I'm encourage to read and find out more about other religions...
I hope to read the Thora/Torah as well...
I'm raised to respect other religions...

yes.. in fact, the word of God. the word of Allah..
and while many of you here said Muslims are scary, and narrow-minded, the Quran is perfect. we shouldn't judge muslims in a way thinking that they all are terrorists. some of them are religious, some are not. seek why they act like that and in what basis they think they are right. human are not perfect. if you have the time, i suggests, you read the Quran, and you will see what i mean.

Yes, I find it quite enlightening, but I prefer the Book of Mormon or the Bible.

Yes, indeed. I found most of it quite interesting, much of it quite beautiful, and some of it quite sad in its narrow-mindedness and immorality.
