i don't get them b/c everyone else has them. i get them b/c i like them. and i don't really think they hurt that bad, so i'm not really torturing my body. i have 6 piercings, 2 tattoos and will probably get more of both. is that bad?

I enrolled myself in two course at a community college. I had a difficult time understand the material and trying to get good grade on test and assignments. i will be recieving both classes a C. I wish there was a Miracle in my grade to change into A. I ask this because i would like to transfer into an ivy leage school. it has always been my dream to go. I was un accepted this year for the fall of 2006 with a 4.2 in my high school senior class. hopeful in the future i can be accepted.

Should we bring back Slavery and have women be property since the Bible supports both?

Philemon was not told to free Onesimus. Slaves are repeatedly told to obey their masters (Eph. 6:5, Col. 3:22, I Tim. 6:1, Titus 2:9)

Women are the property of their father until married, and their husband after that. (Ex. 20:17, 22:17, Deut. 22:24, Mat 22:25).

i saw on TV today of this christian guy who was saying that everything that has been happening(global warming wars etc.) lately is leading to the apocolypse, which got me thinking that i am in no way a christian not because i am being stubborn but because i CANT beleiveit, its far to ingnorant for me. i do have beleifs but what if hypotheticaly christianity was right. would you support your beleifs and go to "hell" or would you change your beleifs and go to a heaven where that gods beleifs are totaly crazy, ignorant, and corrupted. but wouldnt that in a way be hell

I just posted a question of what people though Mormons were. many say that we are a cult. other say we are not christian. and yet. we believe all that Christians do and more. for example if u look at the Catholic church there isnt much of a differnce other than we have the Book Of Mormon as well as the Bible. We have apotles and a prophet. And technicaly the Catholic church doesnt have them yet they believe the bible and i clearly states in the bible that the Church of Christ should have Apotles and Prophets. We also have more beliefs. But both our churches believe in Christ and his mistering. And all that he did. So how do u describe an organization as a cult. how do u discribe an organization as a religon. cause if you call mormons a cult than u might as well call all religons a cult. I would describe a cult as an organiztion or people who are about worldly matters. And a religon is an organization about spirital matters. I would really like to know what u have to say about it.

A lot of Christians and other anti-Islam types post passages from the Koran that invlove killing people who don't follow Islam. But have these people read their own Bible? Because this, among many other examples of very non-Christian behavior, is what I found when I did.

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, "You shall not live, because you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord." When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall thrust him through. (Zechariah 13:3 NAB)

I have many, many more. Why do people who say the Koran is full of hate not seem to know about this?

I found this passage as an example of something I thought was a sample of the weird things said in the Koran:

Cow 2.191: "And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers."

What else does the Koran say?
