yes....but you have to make the decision with your heart...not your mind. your mind can fool you so you have to give everything to God and let him control your life.

We make choices every second of the day. To choose to sit or to stand; to sleep or to stay awake, etc.

The same for heaven and hell.

The choice is this - do you want to be clean or dirty?

What? You may say.

I used to think I did not need any form of religion because I was essentially a good person. However, I realised that it was not so simple.

I reasoned that let's say I made one mistake a day (a lie here, a bad thought there, etc), 1 year and I would have made 365 mistakes and if I live till 70, I would have committed 21,170 mistakes (taking the age of 12 as age of accountability)

If any mistake was like a spot of dirt on my soul, I would have 21,170 spots of dirt on my soul when I die. I would be pretty dirty.

I am thinking, if I stand at the gates of heaven, would God allow me to come into his house with all the dirt that I carry on me? I think not.

The bible says we have a choice "Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18

Do you want to be dirty or clean when you stand before the gates of heaven? That is the choice. If you think that being dirty, you still can enter the house of God, then all the best to you. But I rather take the surer way of letting God cleanse me of my sins by the blood of Jesus Christ.

No. God knows EVERYTHING, including who is going to heaven or hell BEFORE he creates them. So here's God: "Well, this ones gonna fry! Oh, well!" God could easily have created a variant of you that would not have gone to hell. In an infinitude of possible souls, he plucks from nothingness the ones that he knows are gonna burn, burn, burn. Where's the choice in that?

But its not Gods fault. See, God also knows everything HE is ever going to do, so the one thing he can never do is change his mind because he always knew he was going to change his mind an infinity ago. So, God doesn't have a choice either....

Sucks

No because there is no such thing as hell. Humans are the only ones that judge and some cavemen 2000 years ago created a religion in the likeness of them. Love is all there is.

Hmmmm... good question...

I would say... not if you don't accept Jesus as your Savior and follow the commandments to the best of your ability...

Heaven and Hell are ... consequences...

you have a choice for your actions.. not for the consequences.

of course, same as everyday choices. you do good and let God into you and do what he wants u to do and u go to heaven. you do crazy stupid things and u go to hell. its a choice we have to do while we are alive and determines where our spirit will be at, eternally, when we die.

yes everyone has a choice to choose between heaven and hell...but it must be made before one dies.....and it must be
serious choice...one makes that choice by choosing or rejecting Jesus and His offer of salvation....if you reject that gift then you choose hell...if you receive it heaven is what it offers to you.....I hope that helps.....

Yes. If you live the way the God wants you to. Obey His commands, and you will be in Heaven. If you don't, then to hell you'll go.
