i think that islam is a DANGEROUS religeon. ifd you read the koran completely then you would see the violence and hatred the religeon promotes. the fact that a few verses MAY speak of peace . those verses are nothing more than a front. islam people may not be dangerous (unless they are extremeist) but the religeon in it self is.

you asked what i think of isam this is my answer.

How many religions tell their followers to kill the infidel, those who don't believe?
Only Islam has this.
Why is it a religion that preaches peace and tolerance, that acknowledges the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) as people to be honored, and then its people practice the opposite?
Such as treating Christians as second class citizens?
The construction of churches or chapels is not allowed in the country of saudi arabia.
The public practice of any religion other than Islam, including Christianity and Judaism, the presence of churches, and open possession of Christian religious materials are outlawed in Saudi Arabia.
This does not sound like a religion of tolerance.

To the one who lost someone in 9/11, my condolenses to you. however, as a muslim i don't judge christianity based on what other people did. and i think it only fair that you don't judge islam what some muslims (like BinLaden do) Nevertheless, christian history too has several dark ages.. but i for one don't judge christianity based on that. Now as for any verse that you see the "promotes" war as you say, there is a verse immediately following or preceding that specified the bounds of war... if the enemy puts down their weapon then put yours down. Muslim have during the time of Prophet muhamammed gone through a great degree of persecution.. why do you think he moved to medina. Nonetheless if ever you come accross any such verses i challenge you to read the verse that follows it. Then you will know the truth.

It is a false religion. The Bible is God's word to mankind and the Koran teachings go against the Bible. That is how we can be sure Islam is false. Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. All other roads lead to eternal death.

I think it's about the same as Christianity, except its got an extra prophet and some slightly varying stories and traditions, and many muslims don't believe in making statues or art of their religious figures. I think that Christians and Muslims aren't enemies at all, and that overall, they get along more than they fight, historical, and usually when they do fight its for political, not religious, reasons, albiet often disguised as religious reasons.

What some guy whose name I can't remember (nor do I care to find out) said: "I dont like it....it is a false religiojn filled with alot of junk...
but I do get a kick out of these questions you guys put out here....it is like watching a little skit .....one of you posts the questions and sure enough one come s out and says things like this.....

"It's a beautiful, perfect religion that I hope more people will open their heart to everyday. "

its like you guys set this up....ok act one is over ..lets move on to the next...lol"

I'm more inclined to think that people like YOU are the ones who create such questions, so that your friends will come in and say "I don't like it! It's false! False!". It's happened so many times and it's a complete bore.

Islam, as the first poster said, is a beautiful religion, and I'm thankful to God everyday for putting faith in my heart.

I think its like most other religions, infact it mostly reminds me of christianity. Peaceful and loving, thats how I see it. Those who say otherwise actually know nothing of it, just what they see or hear.
