By the looks of the south especially, Christians are NEVER fasting. Why don't they fast? Fasting is really good for you and your soul.

I find it kind of odd, if the world is only 10K years old, God shows himslef and does miracles to a lesser educated crowd in the older days. Times when believing was real.

Today with high technology, nuclear weapons and missles, we need God more than ever to make more appearances to a very needy crowd. There are more pople today than ever, and they are worse off than the people in the biblical times.

Where the crap is he?

In the book of Leviticus, chapter 11, v. 7, it is recorded that God declares the pig to be unclean for believers. Then, in verse 8, God says: “You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you”. This command is repeated in Deuteronomy 14:7-8. Then, in Isaiah 65:2-4, and 66:17, God issues a stern warning against those who eat pork.

Some people are aware of this prohibition from God, but they say that they can eat pork because St. Paul said that all food is clean in his letter to the Romans 14:20. St. Paul said this because he believed (as he wrote in his letter to the Ephesians 2:14-15) that Jesus had abolished the Law with all its commandments and regulations. He seems, however, to have misunderstood what he heard about Jesus. In the Gospel According to Matthew 5:17-20, Jesus is reported to have said quite the contrary, as follows: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law . . . ." Jesus then went on in that passage (in verse 19) to denounce anyone who would break the smallest commandment and teach others likewise. He also praised his true followers who will practice and teach even the smallest commandment. One of the commandment is to stay away from pork.

This is why the true followers of Jesus, holding on to his teachings, did not let unclean food such as pork enter their mouths, so that Peter, the chief disciple, can say, “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean” (Acts of the Apostles, ch. 10, v. 14)

Five chapters later in the Acts of the Apostles, 15:29, we find that the original disciples still differentiate between clean and unclean foods, and this time Paul is in agreement with them. Six chapters later, in ch. 21, v. 25, their decision to impose food regulations on believers is mentioned without regret, and this time Paul is challenged to prove that he is in agreement with them; and he demonstrated his full agreement with them.

I am NOT trying to tell God what to do or how he should run His own affairs (Glory be unto Him). The way I understand his wisdom about the matter on hand is that, He is exposing them and their lies big time, once and for all.

It's fine if you believe that Noah built an ark and put all of God's creatures, male and female, into that ark and they had enough provisions to live for a year, to survive a flood that wiped out all other living things.

But if the ark contained all of earthly life from elephants and dinosaurs, to alligators and snakes, horses and cows, rats and cats, it would have to be a limited number of species to actually fit inside the ark. I'm not even considering all the insect life, they must have been on their own to survive.

So, in order for those limited number of animal species to equal the current widely accepted estimate of 45,000 vertabrates on earth, there would have to be some EVOLUTION going on. Otherwise Noah would have been carrying about 100,000 critters and enough food to feed them and that would take one big @ssed boat!

So, either it was a MIRACLE, which I suppose many will answer. Or you believe that species EVOLVED from that limited number on the boat. Or, BUNK!

Tens of millions of dollars have been paid out as settlement moneys for the sexual atrocities committed by Catholic Priests for decades against children...Altar boys for the most part.

How does the church explain the covering up of this abomination
by Bishops and other heirarchy and the shuffleing of pedophile / Homosexual priests from one parish to another to prey yet again on more innocents?

Why would anyone want to remain a member of any religion that condems Satan with one hand and carries ouit his work with the other?

Islam for example is open for all to see it's tenets namely violence, hatred, intolerance and murder while the cathloic church has cloaked much of the same...if I were a catholic I would like to know these answers?

And what about the horrors of the Inquisiton all sponsored and carried out by the Catholic church...does any catholic out there
ever ask about these heinous acts and can articulate how the church explains this away to it's members?

If awareness and curiosity is what leads us to new levels, couldn't this just be a less dense vibrational level in which we could develop non-verbal communication and manifest physical matter with creative intent.(Just like how heaven just may be like). Is it because of the flux of people, the collective consciousness over our existence is cluttered with doubt and fear? When we become to a mmore understanding of each other, will these psychic evolutions become stronger? Lots of questions but give me your thoughts?

this is what a doctor told me. our bodies are not what it used to be 2 days ago, because every cell has changed , and it keeps happening till we die, which means i am not the same person i was in body 2 days ago. i am the same only in being and spirit. when we die our bodies decay and become nother entity. our being lives on
can such a thing be taken for granted?

It's a serious question. I view Islam as an ideology more than a religion. The way it is practiced in most of the world has the net effect of splitting the world into us/them (muslim/non-muslim). It cannot be called racist or ethnocentric but it has all the qualities of these as it dehumanizes non muslims and encourages hatred and violence agains the same. It is very similar to Nazism in that regard. If you have a serious answer, please post it. No islamic diatribes or name calling please.
