I was recently agrieved to find that the New York Cosmos counted schoolboy and junior goals in their bid for Pele to get to the magic 1,000 goals mark. My mind wandered and I become to think of any other such blatant exagerations anyone in the public eye has benefited from and I could not shake the image of our lord Jesus. Who, at Galilea fed the 5,000 from a fish and a few loaves of bread he took from a small boy. I can't help but wonder did he in fact, simply call the caterers in? Or has the number of people or food be slightly exagerated. I find it strange that no one sought the and documented the views of the small boy who's lunch fed 5,000 strangers either. I'll prepared strangers at that.

Would you worship in 'Heaven' if you are already there? It doesn't seem practical to worship in 'Heaven', when you spent your life worshipping to get to 'Heaven'... b4 I ask my questions,I will just give you brief background in why I am asking this question...a friend told me a story about his ex-girlfriend, he told me his ex-girlfriend was a white witch, anyway she was kidnapped by 4 guys & they kept her at their cabin and they raped her repeatedly for 3 days, then somehow she managed to runaway...she didn't go to the police(I dont know why) but she got together wif her friends (witches,wiccans,pagans or whoever) they all got together & did a real big ritual or spell in the woods to deal with these guys...anyway within a year, all 4 guys were dead, all by accidents..questions:a)If she was really a white witch why wasnt she protected in the first place?b)is it unethical in your "witch beliefs" to take vengence this way?c)I know this sounds silly but if this is a true story couldn't she be charged with murder?
d)if these spells really did kill them,wouldn't just help them cos they've left the earth plane & now they r free?

somewhere else?I have seen incredible things done by people who believe they can do something that seems impossible.I have seen people who can change their mood and their emotion at will.I have seen people who have been brainwashed to believe something that isn't true such as how Jim Jones brainwashed people to kill themselves.I have seen all this and it tells me that feeling love for something doesn't make it real.It just means that "faith" can be simply a form of self brainwashing to gain an emotional response from within.Can't you concede to that at least a little?

Can you prove that you exist. how do you know you are not a figment of your imagination? That we are all schizophrenics if you will? what you see, hear feel.. etc is based on what your brain tells you. so how do you prove you exist? Just as you believe that you exist ...by seing yourself, hearing yourself.. etc these are merely signs that you exist then take heed everything around you is sign that god exists.

So how can you prove you exist? and everything around you is not merely a figment of your imagination.

My friend and I have been talking about religion ALOT lately and I feel I have NO reason AT ALL to believe in a seemingly unreal figure [[god]] that has helped me with NOTHING just because everyone else seems to. God has let my grandparents die my sister get AIDs my father to be abusive my hope to be lost my love to be forgotten and my faith to be damned. I used to pray every night and NONE of my prays were answered...my grandmother NEVER got well and my father's angry was never lifted. I have no faith anymore but I would like to have a reson to believe.

Do you know how many times the KJV of the Bible was translated from the original Greek and Hebrew to the version that is used today?

How many scholars were used to translate it?

How many to over see the process?

How many years did it take to translate?

Now, tell me, if you can find these answers, and you can even on unbiased web sites, how can you continue to say it has been translated over and over again, when we have a single translation from original laungauge, so carefully undertaken, with specific rules NOT to add to or take away from the original text, and backed by MANY men, in diffrent work groups to assure no one mans ideal came through?
