Perfect love casts out fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. People are fearful because that is the way terrorism works.. it takes advantage of people by bringing intimidation. That's not normal rational behavior, but it works on many people because they may not be looking beyond the here and now...

The land in Israel was stolen from the Palestenians by huge Western super powers like America in 1948. The Jewish people hadn't had a defined area of land that was specifically for Jewish ppl there for thousands of years. They had lived there, but in the Palestenian's lands. Why should God, even if he could, deliver Israel? Sure, the Israelis should be safe, and the Jewish people suffered horribly in WWII, but the Native Americans have way more right to their land, taken not thousands but no more than 300 and 200 years ago, and I don't see George Bush giving it back. So while the Israelis slaughter 300 Lebanese civillans, and the Lebanese, in all of Israeli history, have done nothing to them, you just keep praising them for all the good work their doing over there, saying god will deliver them, in thanks for the great deed done by murdering those Muslim heathens. Of course he will. And if he did, he certainly wouldn't be MY god.

God gave man free will - men choose to kill and maim each other. God doesn't need to return to Israel He is everywhere. Men made the religions and the Jews seem to be the first followers of the One True God. It all came unstuck in Babylon when they got too big for their boots and tried to build a tower to reach God, He in return decided not to talk to them, he scattered them and gave each tribe a different language. So today we have many languages, many religions but still the ONE GOD that loves us all equally. There is no true religion except faith in God. Fear is a product of ignorance, the world is in turmoil and we are going through major changes through greed and man made religious fervour!
