When we exit physical existence and gather all the experience clusters and consciousness' on our journey to deposit them back to the original home, what happens after that? That is if we don't get attracted to lower levels or are earth-bound due to deep attachments.

Is there a fine line between being nice to people and getting run over? I mean I want to be nice and do things for people but sometimes i feel like I let people run over me..What is the Christian viewpoint on this..I mean how should you react to this. how do we receive prophecy today? What religions claim to have prophets that give them the Word from God's lips to their ears? And last but not least, Gifts of prophecy as stated by the early Christians was a gift that all should want... are we not all able to be prophets?

Hey isnt it a pity that though Noah took two of all species on his Ark.
millions of years ago the Dinosaurs became Extinct,
I really like some of those dinosaurs, if they would have been alive and if humans would have been lucky enough then probably we would have them in cages next to the tigers.
Do you think that the scientist can crack their genetic code(D.N.A)
and recreate them.Tests are being carried in certain labs.

This question is actually meant seriously.

We all know God through only the Bible or Quran. Books written by humans, who claimed it was the word of God.

God has done no other attempt ever to show Him to us, or to even give us a sign that He exists.

I'm truly wondering how you feel about this. If there was no Bible, would you have the exact same idea about what/who God is?

I tend to get very upset. Is that a sin? What level of prayer must I reach before I can accept the way people are and truly forgive them and see past their mean actions towards myself and my family? The good Lord said "turn the other cheek", but it's so hard to do (lol)!! Any advice from experienced Christians? I have only recently become one, and I am trying hard to change my life and clean up all the triggers that I know tend to set me off, stop hanging around certain folks, places, etc. Any advice for a young Christian?

They expect to see animals magically transform into new ones before their very eyes, or see apes become humans just like that.
Then they think the bible makes more sense then their skeewed veiw of evolution, which it still doesn't.

My faith in God is what has sustained me thus far in life and now I feel like ti is starting to falter a little because I don't feel like he is answering my prayers. I know I suffer from a lack of patience, but this is something that I have desired and been asking for for a long time. When I think my prayer has been answered it has been taken away (which mostlyh at the time is a good thing), but why all the inbetweens? I know God knows the desires of my heart better than I do so why does he not just bless me with what I've been seeking him out for? I don't feel like I'm asking for much. I just want a sincere form of reciprocative love from a God fearing man! Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do more?

optics was first figured out by a Muslim? Al Hazzen in the 10th century. He was thrown into prison becuz he didn't or couldn't figure out a way to stop the Nile flooding. The Calif (Kalif) at the time was pissed off and thru him in the slammer; where he figured out that light travels in rays to our eyes.

Evolution vs Creationism

There are those all my life who have told me I must choose between God and Evolution, and if I choose evolution I am not being saved.

Genesis 2.7 says God made Adam out of dust in the ground. This to me is figurative, that I am insignificant like dust, except for the hand of God creating me and making me significant.
Moses did not have a microscope.

God is the creator, praise to God.

But why must my salvation be dependent on a literal interpretation of Genesis 1:26-27, or 2:7.

God made the world using science. Wether it was by his own hand using dust and clay, or through the process of evolution (which incidently, starts off with dust and clay, or some equivalent symbiosis of non-life elements).

Jesus came for remission of sin.

It is not a sin to believe in evolution.

What are your thoughts.

I an very interested in learnig more about wicca and other sects of paganism. Can someone please give me some general info and refer me to good website or books to learn more. I would especially like to know more about the origin of Wicca. I know that it is a spin on old pagan ideas created by Gardener in the 1950's, but what are these ancient ideas this religion is based on? Aslo do only wiccans practice magik, what excactly is magik, and what other rituals and beliefs do pagans/wiccans practice? What gods and godesses do they worship and why? What are some good books and tools to start with? Please only serious answers from people with years of knowledge in this area. No offens to christians, but no bible quotes please!

I was just wondering why when a fundementalist sees something on TV they find objectionable they don't either turn off the TV or change the radio station they call the FCC. Now I think Howard Stern is a moron carering to the lowest common denomenator but I have the sense to change the station to say Bob and Tom. But now they can't play some of the best bits because a portion of the population can't figure out how to work the channel changer. So if you are one of these clean up the airwaves types let me know what your rational is.
