Holey Babble which commonly known as Holy Bible is the most translated book on earth.

It is a book which claimed to be truth but never use as a text book nor hardly use as a reference book for most our school subjects other than religious studies on Christianity.

The Scripture consists of 66 books in which some books/ gospels were omitted b'cos the religious authorities at that time pick and choose those "deemed" suitable for them.

But there are hundreds of versions and each denominations would choose their favourite version and the "almost" original version which is King James Version ( KJV) had to be revised to New KJV.

Wonder how many version has Holy Quran has?

There are many translations which vary widely, but if you look at the actual differences between the versions in the original language, most of them are merely spelling alterations or grammatical changes. Archaeological evidence shows that the oldest versions we have available (written about a hundred years after the original) are almost identical to the version we have today.

Please remember a version or translation is taking the ancient writings OR the King James and putting the words in a simple form. The goal is not to change the meaning the goal is to make the meaning easier to understand.

When another comes along and changes the meaning we call it a mistranslation. JWs Mormons etc.

Versions of the Bible have the same meaning, There are different versions because some readers don't understand another version of the bible.

There is the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts...

They have been translated into EVERY language in the world. It is NOT some big mystery... There are STILL people alive this second that can STILL read the original texts.....

Just like Socrates has been translated into just about every language in the world... But NO ONE seems to wig out that he might have been MIS-interperted...
