What do you mean "we"? It's obvious that you don't have a clue. Wait a minute! Did you say "Peace and Love"? Maybe you're not a hopeless case. But if you think it's arrogant to feel oneness with old whats-his-name, that's called alienation.

I'm an atheist, here is my 2 points......i mean view.

Our creator = natural processes
If I can comprehend some of this, then NO, its not arrogant to think we know something that is in the 'mind' of our creator.

"n9flyboy"..humans actually utilize 100% of the brain. They just don't use 100% at any given time. The belief "we humans only use about 10% of the brain" is usually something that is only said by clairvoyance, astrologers, new age cults, "psychics and other paranormal pushers to explain psychic powers",alien cults, mystics, and born again chistians, in an attempt to show our inability to know what they claim to know. And extract money from people.

No sir or maim I will have all eternity to learn more and more about God.
This one thing I do know is That God LOVES THE WHOLE WORLD
AND MADE A WAY FOR EVERYBODY TO BE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN.
God wants to give everybody a free gift of SALVATION.Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The only thing that you have to do is when God is dealing with you(
you will know when God is convecting you)right then repent"tell God you
know that you are a sinner"tell God you want to receive Jesus by FAITH
believing Jesus die according to scriptures for you and thank God for saving you" According to the Bible Jesus just saved you and now read
the Bible K.J.V.and let God teach you hoe to follow Him.
This part of Gods Mind I do know because God showed it to me.
In Christ in Love,

I don't believe God has a mind. I go by the laws of nature and try to treat others with love and kindness, and it's really just that simple. Blessed be.

no, but as we learn in church to "be like God", "what would Jesus do", etc, it's only human nature to take the next step and assume that we will reach the top. just like the tower of Babel, when people were trying to get closer to heaven, and that made God MAD.... so they thought they were doing good, but they were doing exact opposite!! i think what is needed in the church is the ability to REJOICE in the fact that we are NOT God, we will never be perfect like Jesus, so instead of beating ourselves up for mistakes, we will just try our damn hardest to walk the righteous path!! JESUS was the only human that was ever, and will ever be PERFECT (to deny temptation, die on the cross as a sacrifice). No One will ever have that much purity and goodness, it is only thru Jesus that we are saved. that is why, instead of trying to make ourselves look "good" at church, act holier than others, look down on people who are not christians, that is ALL b.s. all we have to do is accept Jesus Chris as our savior, and live our lives with Joy and Happiness and continue to learn and grow w/ the Spirit, not our Minds. Logic is flawed, but the Spirit is pure. If we have the Spirit in our hearts, it will guide us to do the right thing.

I am a Christian Pastor and considered by some to be a scholar of the Bible.
I do not even try to pretend that I have all the answers.
I can only learn about GOD what He chooses to revel to me.
May God Bless.

It depends how much power is given to the church and their authorities...

If there would be no fight about "the right way of living today", the world would be much more peaceful, I'm sure - in any religion.

For me, religion is not important - it's for those who either do not want to think or can not think for themselves.

God did not create us. God is nothing but a spirit that exists in each of us. Knowing your own mind is knowing God's mind.

Hmm... there is a bit of arrogance in that, maybe..... pretending to know too much seems arrogant --- humility must be the answer to prevent that... right?
