I'm just kind of curious and not wanting to shove religion down anyones throat... but does anyone who does not believe in God ever get scared they could be wrong and in turn suffer the consequences of not believing?

I don't know what to make of it, but some friends of mine, who are pagan, seem to think that I am not devout enough. Due to being on different spiritual paths, I have declined participation in certain rituals, but they do not seem to accept my reason. (I would never insult them by declining an invitation to a handfasting or naming ceremony, but my beliefs do not include using or manipulating the power of nature in any way, and theirs do.) Advice?

Hey isnt it a pity that though Noah took two of all species on his Ark.
millions of years ago the Dinosaurs became Extinct,
I really like some of those dinosaurs, if they would have been alive and if humans would have been lucky enough then probably we would have them in cages next to the tigers.
Do you think that the scientist can crack their genetic code(D.N.A)
and recreate them.Tests are being carried in certain labs.

Or more to the point, have liberated women, abandoned a natural power over the world, and it's future? I'm all for liberation, I just want to know the cost of freedom...

Muslims have a 500 years history of horendous murders of Hindus and Buddists. They often now state that they have good intent, should they pay for and rebuild the buddist statue to show good intent. Some answers from Muslims please.

For me, it is listening to Owls, being awake during the drum of intense rainfall, listening to lightning and thunder, and having a good crap out in the great outdoors!

Christianity has the Roman Catholics, The Eastern Orthodox, the Episcopalians, the Lutherns, the Baptists, the Methodists, the Seventh Day Adventists, the Jehovah Witnesses, the Pentacostals, the Mormons, the Non-Denominationals, etc., etc.

Instead of coming together, Christianity seems to have spread further and further apart over differences in interpretation of Jesus and the Bible. Some of those ideas radically different than the mainstream, if there is a mainstream anymore.

Look at this historical classification scheme and tell me that Christianity is a cohesive faith. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_denomination#Historical_schisms_and_methods_of_classification_scheme

There are so many splinters and those splinters seem to be expanding over time. So, what will Christianity look like in another 100 years?

This isn't really a question, I just have to say it. I have always considered myself a christian, and it upsets me when christians verbally attack atheist here, and when atheist verbally attack christians. I think we should give all those people who don't want to allow the rest of us the right to CHOOSE for ourselves what we believe a new name and place them in that category (maybe christeist's?).

Since I'm born a raised wiccian, they think I would make a good head for a coven. But I'm not sure if I want all the work it means. All the members will be old friends, but it means planning meeting, making food, and planning what to do for the evening. Am I being selfish not wanting the hassle???

Chrisians and Muslims viciously attacked traditional religions in any land they invaded. Should these religions be revived and mulims and chrisians forced to pay reparations, and force them to rebuild the temble and placed of worship that they have destroyed.

I've noticed that this ever so long fairytale of religion has affected everything in human life, even weddings.. so I was thinking and I don't recall ever seeing or hearing about a wedding without religion involved. And "Atheism" sounds like a religion, I think of myself "No religion"
