Like you, I also love a torrential downpour - being in it and getting soaked to the bone is the best! On the other hand, I love the desert. I've spent the greater part of my childhood living in Saudi Arabia, and theres is nothing quite as peaceful as the desert at night - if you're far enough away from the city/town lights the stars start right from the horizon and up. So beautiful, so spiritual, would be the ideal location for a romantic time with your partner. Don't forget a blanket though!

standing outside and feeling the air as the weather changes. esp when it has been really hot and a storm is coming and you can feel the air pressure change and the wind pick up. It feels like everything around you is coming to life. Also love being outside in the rain. Makes me feel alive. Love thunder storms. Absolute favourite is being by the sea during a storm with the wind whipping and the waves crashing.

Right on bro! Just being there is an awesome spiritual experience. You get away from all the trappings and distractions of civilization. You find that you get in touch with the "real" you when you are out in nature, hiking a trail, or climbing a mountain, camping, etc. Those are the experiences that I treasure greatly in life.
