The Lord Almighty is someone who can not be explained away as there is nothing like Him, Almighty. He is certainly not a body, or perhaps even a spirit. If someone asks you describe something like gravity... it would perplex most people to show something like gravity. Is air like gravity... in some respects.. gravity and air both are invisible, can exert a force on physical bodies until they move etc.. but they are not similar we know that intrinsically.

In the same way it is not possible to show anything, spirit or person that is like the MOST HIGH LORD. The Bible describes Him as I AM WHO I AM.. what a beautiful description. One can not describe him, as our description would contain Him. We can not point towards him, as that would limit him in space etc.

What your teacher perhaps wants you to say is He, Almighty is a Person and THE SPIRIT, who is the fountainhead of the concept of a person and all spirits, if he/she is Christian.

Muslims and Jewish folks differ somewhat, although Bible symbolically talks of the Lord as both as a person and as a spirit, as mankind was slowly being exposed to the Mystery the Good Lord is!!

The best description of the Lord is "UNDESCRIBABLE" or even better "He is WHO HE IS!!". Peace.

A spirit or pure energy. People try to think of God as some sort of person, or big grandaddy in the sky. Don't think of God as a person, think of God as an energy or the source that connects all souls.

I think our Divine Creator is inside all of us, and therefore must be Spirit. A great big white ball of love-energy. Now, being human, it is easiest to imagine the need for a finger to point. (humans are a judgeful lot.)
