...for having an abortion. I've begged and pleaded to Him, said I was sorry but I still cannot take away the action that happened. And sometimes it really eats at me. I feel like I'm permanently stained sometimes, with no hope for redemption.

I believe in Jesus. I understand what he did by dying on the cross. But sometimes I feel as if I don't deserve his sacrifice. There is a Bible verse with Jesus and the man with leprosy where the man asks Him, he'd like to be healed if (Jesus is) willing. Jesus says he is willing.

Is that what I need to think of and not the horrible comments I'm sure both sides alike will make to me?

And don't try to say there is no God. I know better that there is.

Okay, I have been emersed in these religion questions for days and been really entertained. I want to know some of your answers. Agree or disagree. The bible was written thousands of years ago by different people and has lost certain things in the translations over the years. I don't want to hear that I will pray for you and other crap. I want an agree or disagree.

If 20 people witness the same thing and you go back and ask those same people about that thing, you will get 20 different stories. Same as in the bible.

Wake up people. Stop taking the bible so literally and read it for what it really is....a fictional story book. Sure there might be SOME truth in there as far as the things that happened. But the futuristic crap is just that...someone believing in something and now they have you pathetic losers believing it too. Get a life! There is more to life than being bound by a book and a belief!

so please tell me the difference between this:

we have the right to kill babies
but yet we do not have the right to kill eachother. isn.t there something wrong here?

example: if i went outside and killed my neighbor i would go to jail

but if i kill a unborn child nobody would say anything about it

One evening I drove my vehicle 27 miles into a wilderness on top of snow then came to a snow drift I could not get around, so had to turn back. If you have ever tried to follow your trail back, you will understand how hard it is to do and I didn't and ended in snow up to my windows all the way around. I had a shovel and dug the snow away but was 40 feet off the trail with nothing but soft snow between me and the road. My thermometer said it was 8 below zero, my odemeter said I had 22 miles to hike. My calendar said i had at least five days before anybody else was expected on the road. I had a dialogue with God and because I knew how to do so, he sent me back to my vehicle and lifted it the forty necessary feet. As I was continueing my journey out, I asked him what he wanted and he said nothing was expected, for He enjoyed the dialogue. According to the people of the world today what happened to me was an aberation because we can only have dialogues with equals. How far backward have we retreated to have such an absurdity as a rule?

The religious beliefs of ancient Egyptians and Greeks have always fascinated me. Do modern Egyptians still believe in the gods like Rah, Osiris, etc? Do greeks still believe in Zeus and Athena?

I'm just curious as to why those religions might have died out (if at all). On average, a majority of people in India, Asia, Japan, even Native Americans, still follow the spriitual beliefs of their ancestors.
