Of course not.
No-one 'chooses' what they believe. Our beliefs are formed subconsciously. We don't go around thinking things like "I guess I'll believe in gravity today" or "eh, I guess I'll believe Jesus died for my sins today because I'm bored"
It just doesn't work that way, regardless of what a bunch of ancient books may claim to the contrary.

That's kind of confusing...I mean, if you are 100% sure something exists, then that really is a belief in it. I believe this keyboard exists (at least, in some sense) because I'm typing on it. When I stopped being Christian, it wasn't because I knew the Christian version of God existed and just chose to ignore him, but because I didn't believe that what the Christians told me was true.

I think Randy forgot to read the first part where it says "People that are 100% sure it exists" Atheists don't believe anything exists. I am 0% sure a god exists.

Yeah, like it makes my life easier not to believe in the Judeo-Christian God.

If you are 100% sure God exists, you believe in Him. Devils also believe and tremble.
LOL, at least devils have enough sense to tremble!

I do believe in God, and I believe in the teachings of Jesus but I do not believe the bible god is the true God. I used to believe in him until I grew up. Now I know better.

Your question is
"Can someone who believes choose not to believe?" I think that is a simple oxymoron.
Perhaps you are thinking of agnostics, who say god might exist but they don't know, don't care, and refuse to live their lives ruled by either viewpoint of his existence.

How could you not believe in something that you know exists??? That is just moronic. I am atheist, I don't believe because I have no reason to. If I were to see "god" how could I not believe?

Yeah. They're called atheists. By choice, they do not believe. By definition, they choose, they do not believe.

That doesn't make much sense.
If someone knows god exists, how can they choose not to believe.
It is like trying to convice yourself you don't exist.
