That would be the devils work.
I'd recommend you to pick up the bible and see all the incredible miracles he has done.

Tsunami is a natural thing, just like a hurricane. Cancer is a result of not taking care of the body. Famine is a result of poor planning by man. The holocaust was the result of men following a lunatic. These are not God "unleashing" anything.

Remember, this same God you speak of created babies, Love, sex, chocolate cake, the smile of a loved one and beautiful Texas sunsets. Okay, I listed them in the wrong order of wonderfulness but you get the drift.

Some people believe God created the universe and it's physical properties. So God created gravity for example. He also created water. If I pour a glass of water over my head, did God cause me to get soaked?

I don't profess to understand the physics of the planet, but a tsunami is the result of an earthquake which is the result of plate techtonic shifts. I would imagine to key to survival would be to not live in areas prone to such. Sounds crass, but if you live in New Orleans, San Fran, the base of a volcano...It's a matter of time.

Holocaust is man's inhumanity to man. We are at fault for that one.

Famine (in this day and age) is a result of land misuse and misapplication of resources. Ethiopia is considering invading Somalia...You are short on food, but have an Army large enough and well equipped enough to invade a neighbor?

Cancer...I don't know. I don't know where it comes from or how to cure it. Some forms have strong genetic connections, others seem random, and cervical cancer can be caused by a virus. I do know that people with faith tend to do better with the treatments than those who have no hope.

What you are describing are signs of the end times which are prophisized in the bible.
Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

These all come as a result of a very sinful world that spend all their time trying to wipe out God instead of obeying His word and His laws. If you dont' accept Jesus as your savior, God doesn't owe you a single thing. Once you are saved and born again through acceptance of Jesus as your savior, sin and the devil may be able to destroy your body, but they cannot have your soul. You go straght to heaven. That is were you focus should be. Where will you spend eternity ? In heaven or in hell? The choice is yours. Don't place the blame on God for what is happening in this world.

You have to look at your question closely.Tsunamies are natural disasters, the holocaust was a result of evil people, god didnt kill those people. Famine, again, is a result of people,Dont we have the power to feed those people?Cancer, thats from our cells, god didnt give you cancer. You have to stop blaming god for things that happens in this world. And in the midst of all the things, you think he's not doing anything? check your sources before you post a question like this. You can continue to say to yourself there is not a god but you will see it in the end. And It will be too late. Later

God is real. He didn't cause these things to come upon us but He did allow them to. Terrible things happen when we are lead away from him with sin. Since we are keeping a score card here, if we humans did obey Him and keep His commandments, then there would be less and less calamities in this world. So let's not get it twisted. God is a good God and with all the tragedies that do occur, it is still much less than we deserve.

Why do you think God sent Tsunami's? That's nature.
Man created the Holocaust, not God.
Cancer is overgrown cells, God didn't make that happen.
Famine is usually a result of a natural disaster as well.

He gave you life, didn't he?

God didn't 'unleash' anything. Mankind did it themselves. God allows freewill, and humans, in turn, do the stupidest things possible, resulting in death and suffering and critics like yourself.
As for tsunamis and famine, if it were a perfect world and God saved us from every booboo, then we wouldn't need faith, and we wouldn't be following God, we'd be drug along behind.

Hmm...

God is a just God, He gave man the free will to choose. Man chose his own will instead of God's. Thus, the earth was cursed. God does not unleash anything, but He allows "nature" to take its course.

For God so loved the world,
He gave His only begotton Son,
That whosoever believes in Him,
Shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

We live in the "Time of Grace" which means that God does not "Activly" interact within our daily lives... We are to do as we will... So to speak, God is sitting back and watching what "we, whom were created in his own image" choose to do. God has given Humanity the ultimate blessing that in turn can be our own undoing, the power of choice. We can chose to be with Him, or inversly against Him. Nevertheless, As for the Natural disasters? Have you heard of the effects Of global warming? Well these are some of the stresses we have placed on our own planet. It is bound to hapen because of our industrialistic ways.. THe world is becoming unstable due to the hand of MAN, it has nothing to do with GOD.

When God banished
Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, he gave human kind the free-will, meaning mankind is now free to make their own choices, wether good or bad. You don't dwell on the bad in the world. Dwell on the good, every breath you take that sustanes your life, every day a baby is born, etc. There has to be bad in order to see the good. Believe me there are a lot more good people on the earth and bad.
