I have gotten answers that end in He’s a Godly President God Bless George Bush. If that is what you believe- great. But does a politician, namely this politician embody the spirit of your faith? Or for that matter should any public figure embody the spirit of your faith?

I can't figure out why the teachings of Paul of Tarsus are more significant than thos of Jesus of Nazareth, but the pattern in a local Baptist minister's sermons that I've heard seems to show just that. The vast majority of sermons are based on letters and epistles from Paul of Tarsus to various early Chrtistian churches, with only occasional references to the Four Gospels that include the words and teachings of Jesus Christ. Am I missing something, here?

Does this not mean that anyone who does not repent of their sins, and acknowledge Christ as Lord and Saviour rejects God's saving grace.?

The first proposal to date the Shroud was submitted in 1979 by Gove and Harbottle (published in Sox 1981:161-167). It was, in my opinion, seriously flawed by the lack of consultation with archaeologists and experts from other fields. Although the more recent STURP proposal has not yet been published, there is reason (discussed below) to suspect that it likewise has not been researched to the degree warranted by the object to be dated, and that significant input from a range of scholars is lacking. Because the next round of scientific testing of the Shroud may well be the last of this century, it is imperative that such details as the amount and number of samples and especially the sampling sites be very carefully considered. Possibilities of contamination should be exhaustively investigated, and pretreatment should be devised accordingly.

So let me guess .. Genocide, murder, rape, cruelty was originally created by GOD right? Or GOD is love? ( unconditional)

Isaiah 45
45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3
3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Now i know ppl will go into the justification but tough they will say they have no idea of reasons for grand master plan. But for sure they know for GOD creating evil is a good thing.

That would make sense because He would not take sides with different peoples belief. He would just be mutual to all.

I played alot of lego's as a kid and I knew and understood the power of creativity. I would also imagine different personalities for each lego character and sometimes lived through them. This concept overlaps pretty well with sprituality. What if I could live as all these characters at oncebut still being me. If I wanted to experience their world exclusively I would choose to forget my higher level awareness. It seems the experience alone is what it would be all about.

they say that they are obeying God and the Bible. Their holiness standards such as-no watching tv, no going to movies, no non christian music, or that the women shouldnt use pants or make up or jewlrey, etc etc. They say that all of that is holiness and seperation from the world. What do you all think?? Im a little confused about all of this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think that i believe in different religion because i want to be different, or I want to be rude, or I want to be foolish or because I am evil? Why you always repeat the same answer, as you do not know anything else? Do I have my right to believe in what I discern is good and righterious?

31: "It was also said, `Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.'
32: But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Matthew 5:31-32

Yes I posted this quote on a different question. People came out of the wood work to say "God gives second chances" and "I don't believe that's true".

This is a direct quote from the book of Matthew attributed to Jesus as the speaker. If Jesus was God incarnate, and the entire bible was written through God's works, how can you possibly defend this quote as being inaccurate or brush it aside so lightly? You're tossing aside what Jesus said here and making up your own opinions about it.
