Yes we are, of sorts.
The Age of Pisces is drawing to a close, giving way to the Age of Aquarius. Yes, it's happening now, today. It's been going on for about 200 years now and it's really picked up steam in the last 50 or so.
As is typical, when one age passes, it takes the major trends of the world along with it. The Age of Pisces has been known as an age of ignorance and fear, an age where absolutist religion has taken over and incited man to make war on his neighbor in the name of God (or Allah). With the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, I believe Christianity will weaken; people will leave it and its teachings in droves, a new religion will emerge, one which I believe will preach Humanism. This will be the new religion, it, and others like it, will stand for the next 2000 or so years.
Because an age is closing, these days can be known as the end-times, a time when the old religion will fall away for the new. That's what "end of the world" meant before Christianity came along and took it too literally.

I believe we are, but I could, of course, be wrong. Most pastors and teachers that I respect seem to think we are in the last of the last days.

Certain key prophecies seem to be:

1. The fulfillment of the nation of Israel coming together again (1948)

2. Jerusalem being recognized as the capital (in the 60's - can't remember exactly which year).

3. Increasing frequencies of earthquakes (as birth pains)

4. Talks of peace in the middle east (though peace is not found).

5. People becoming lovers of selves rather than God.

6. Wickedness and non-belief abounding.

7. Persecution of Christians accelerating.

... and many more. All these things were foretold in the Bible thousands of years ago. Numbers 1 & 2 above seem to be key. Remember that as Jesus said, "no man knows the day or the hour," but we are expected to be wise and recognize the season in which it draws nie.

Grace and Peace to you

The Bible teaches us not to speculate when the end times will be. However, our generation has more reason to believe we are living in the end times than any other generation before. Most people would say we have been living in the end times for hundreds of years. The end times began with the birth of Christ and the stage has been setting ever since. Many people are closed minded to think our calender year is the same as the Creator's. Keep in mind, our calendar year was made by man, not God's. So what we see as years could only be a matter of a few days, weeks, or even months to God.

Those who read the Bible and study prophecy know and realize that it is coming true every single day. The Bible warns to keep our eyes on Israel. Before the end times, we will see a lot more activity going on in the promise land. Have you seen Israel in the news lately? Do you know what is going on with the enemies around her?

There are those that will say I am blind and naive. There are those that say I am just a bible thumper and have no idea what I am talking about. That's okay. Jesus warned that I would get those responses long ago just as he also warned that people will react that way before the tribulation starts. But in all honesty, it does not matter what anyone thinks of me so long as God knows I am doing as He commanded me.

Keep your eyes on Israel! Israel will blossom before the tribulation. Israel is prophesied to become a nation again just before the end times, which it did in May of 1948. When Israel is suddenly attacked by her enemies but are "supernaturally" destroyed, you will know the answer to that question. I am not saying it will happen in our lifetime. I am simply saying that it could happen in this lifetime more than any other before it......

Not yet. But we're getting close. How much do you think gas will cost by 2010? 2016? Do you alternative energy sources can feed the hunger of China, and other developing nations? Even if the United States admitted that human activity is causing global warming, do you think people will change enough to stop the climate change?
Imagine the poverty and level of discontent in the 3rd world by then? Do you think the numbers of jihadists are increasing or decreasing!? What about the increasing number of new incurable diseases that are making their debut, not to mention the increasing resistance of the old diseases. These are the result of the way people, plants and animals are packed together so closely.
What about the decay of Christianity? Without the notion of love and tolerance for other people (including those who are different from you), do you think we could have gotten to the present level of 6.5 billion people. Without the Christian message, do you think 7-10 billion could live together without age-old practices of tribalism and genocide rearing its ugly head? Maybe someone could tell me, reassure me that we could get to 2020 without a major change, a major shift in how we live our lives!

Every generation, at some point, has believed that they were living in the final days. If you look back at historical accounts from even medieval Europe, people could justify all the signs of the end of the world. No, I don't think we are living in the end of times...I think we are standing on the brink of a new and wonderful era.

Jesus is coming very soon, besides the signs of the times there are people that God has revealed to them that He is coming VERY soon in books, and preaching. Go to your local christian bookstore it's easy to find these books. Besides read your bible and the time fits the verses in the bible concerning the signs of the times when the end will be. matthew 24 Daniel 12:4 I can't remember the rest... but it's there. Whenever Jesus comes back your heart should be right with God anyway. God Bless.

We are living in the end times. If you read the bible you will see that all the things predicted by Jesus, and other prophets are comming to pass. Revelations is a hard book to read, but Daniel also predicts what will begain to happen, and it is alot easier to interpret. I was reading Mathew 24 and that is when the deciples asked Jesus to tell them what will happen before his arrival.....Jesus answerd." Watch that no one decieves you. For many will come in my name, claiming,'I am Christ.' and will decieve many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All theese are the beginning of the birth pains." As we all know there is a war in the middle east, Iran just got bombed. All the nations will have to step in and try to keep the "peace" causing nations, and kingdoms to be against one another. Global warming is happening and there are hundreds of people dead in Indonessia from a tunami caused by a 7.7 earthquake. All theese and many more are mentioned in the bible.

You should not be worried though if you have Christ in your heart, and that you know that he was crucified on the cross for my sins and yours, all you have to do is ask him to come in your heart, and ask that he will wash all your sins away. All will be forgiven. I hope that this info will help you, and make you thirsty to read more!!! Stay safe and God bless.

Many do, and I think they may be right, but not for the same reasons. For me, it is mostly because of what I see in the Christian church, not out in the world. (So many false Christs and false teachers, with signs and miracles that if it were possible would lead away even the very elect...it's mind-boggling!)
Of course, we could all be wrong, and the end may not be for centuries to come.

In any case, we are all going to die, so in that sense, every one of us is living in the end times.

One way or another, folks, this world won't last forever.

The Bible foretold things for us to watch for, and we are seeing those kinds of things happening.(2 Timothy 3:1-5, Matthew 24)

I found the following information encouraging in these frightening times.
