The question was, "if god created humankind WHO CREATED GOD?"

The answer I gave was:
"Think about this. I've seen this question before, and I answered it, so I'm going to answer you the same way, only in different words.
God has always existed, the same way time has always existed. Before there was man around to classify time into seconds, minutes, hours, and days, time existed. God didn't need anyone to try to classify It, much the same way that time didn't need anyone to exist."
Seriously, does this make me a hypocrite? Was I not nice? What?
Once you can comprehend time, you can comprehend God. By the way, it probably won't happen. I've spent twelve years trying to comprehend time, and though I'm closer than others, in the scheme of things I've barely begun.

Original sin came about because Adam and Eve took what was obviously bait. They made up their own minds for once in an un-slavelike manner and thus mankind was doomed for having a "forefather" (and foremother) who were not satisfied with being dumb animals.

God, referred to as Jesus' father and arguably his other evil schizophrenic personality, told him to die in agony or the world's entire population is going to get torched for failing a test of perfection that can't be passed and is supposedly our fault.

if you could be sure of spirit returning in some form to tell us about their life after death
if this was given to you with a description of them with names dates and personal information knowing full well that the person giving it to you could not have possibly known this

30% of the population of Southern Lebanon are Christians. The Jewish bomb does not differentiate between Hezbullah militants and the peaceful women and children of Lebanon. Where is the alarm and condemnation?

..... with thought comes words, from words comes action. What if we all have only good thoughts, positive thoughts, Godly thoughts, constructive thoughts, loving thoughts, etc. wouldn't this world be a better place for us all?
There, I think I've just solved all our problems.

This one is for 'whynotaskdon' because he's famous for quoting violent quotes from the koran but when it comes to bible quotes that are as violent, if not more so, he remains strangely silent.
Some lovely examples;

Numbers 16:26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
16:27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

Deutoronomy 13 clearly commands christians to kill every person in a city where god is not worshipped and then to burn the city to the ground. Can you see a pattern developing here?

1 Samuel 2 31-34 says that if you anger god he will chop off your arms, rot out your eyes and heart and then kill your sons and grand sons.
There you have it, love and forgiveness christian style.

Why do Muslims go on and on about being a peaceful religion when their own history books document the wars and killing that they started themselves? Why do they believe their prophet preached peace and tolerance when he slaughtered an entire tribe of Jews, just for being Jewish?
I want intelligent answers from Muslims or people who know what they're talking about. I don't want random Bible verses from Chrissy-fundies or hate from the Muslims, though both are quite entertaining sometimes.

For the longest time I've dealt with the SAME issue, and I've simply say by and did nothing about it, now I honestly have no problem with people that believe in God, Allah, or whatever. But I honestly hate it when people come up to me and start talking **** about me because I don't believe in anything but myself.

My moms friends came over today, and told me that I NEED to go to church, and like always I kept my mouth shut because I was tiring to be nice. I'm starting to get really pissed off at the amount of people that keep doing this.

I'm going to be starting my own religion soon, one based on computer programming logic, and one of the main points of the religion is not practice prejudice because it serves no point in the world.

What are some things that other people have done, basically to still be nice, yet tell people that try and convert you to **** off because you don't believe in what they do.

It is always a possibility. Many things have been eliminated from the Bible because it didn't fit in with their idea of what Jesus needed to be .And these books were all written long after Jesus lived on the earth.
