Original sin came about because Adam and Eve took what was obviously bait. They made up their own minds for once in an un-slavelike manner and thus mankind was doomed for having a "forefather" (and foremother) who were not satisfied with being dumb animals.

God, referred to as Jesus' father and arguably his other evil schizophrenic personality, told him to die in agony or the world's entire population is going to get torched for failing a test of perfection that can't be passed and is supposedly our fault.

A very enlightened view, I have pondered it many times myself.

And just how does somebody dying fix anything??? And don't give me that perfect life for a perfect life garbage. Couldn't this supreme being come up with a better plan??? If that was the case then as soon as this dude got nailed up it should have been the end of the game, right? Why is it still going on if what he did cleansed the plate??

If mankind today treated each other the same way and punished future generations for the sins of the forefathers it would be considered barbaric, yet the Teflon God not only gets away with it but is praised daily for it.

What a crock.
There, I'm done ranting....

No, you don't make much sense. As for your question.....it really isn't what you want to ask. I'm sure that you mean to just bother people who live decent, peaceful lives and want to love and respect one another.

It is surprising why you would find these types of people offensive enough to hate. If you hated less, you would feel better about yourself and be more productive in the world.

Take a deep breath, let it out slowly.....say, "I no longer hate anyone". Life is good....try to live with a little tolerance for people who are different than you. They are all around you and not really going to change to please your campaign.

As for Adam and Eve -- God created them (and us) with free will. But it sounds like you wish that God hadn't done that.

Adam and Eve were not required by God to behave in a slave-like manner. Read Genesis -- it's pretty clear that A & E were free to pretty much do whatever they wanted, except for one thing.

You say that God wanted them to behave like slaves -- but reading through the early parts of Geneis, I'd say that for a pair of "slaves," A & E had it quite good!

As for Jesus' sacrifice: His suffering served mahy purposes.

For one thing, it showed His acknowledgment of the will of HIs Father.

It's a reminder to us that we should offer similar acknowledgment -- we don't have to get ourselves crucified, of course, but if Jesus could accede to His Father's will in such a way, so can we because we need not worry about being crucified.

Second, in suffering like He did, Jesus could directly relate to us in our times of suffering and need. Some people think that when people suffer, God doesn't understand -- but He does. He's "been there and done that," to coin a popular phrase.

God doesn't put a "test of perfection" on us. You're making judgments against God based on your own perception of Him and what you think He does -- rather than how He really is and what He really does.

Several of the things on which you base your question are out-and-out false. If I were you, I'd drop the misconceptions and pre-conceived notions about what God is like, and get to know Him for what He really is -- just as you would do with a person who you started dating. You'd do your best to find out about who the person really is and what he/she is really like, rather than put him/her into a preconceived box, as you are doing with God.

stop posting this question.
You've posted it more than once.
are you just waiting to get a certain answer.
If you're so sure of the answer you want then just say it to yourself and stop posting the same question over and over.

I gave you a clear concise description of the actual meaning of the accounts in the Bible that you are referring to...because you are misinterpreting the Bible.

Isn't this at least the fifth time you've posted this question? I'm pretty sure I sufficiently answered it last time...

I don't expect nonbelievers to be able to comprehend(or uphold) biblical teachings - it'd be contrary to their nature.
