Ask that their soul rest in perfect peace. They have no more worries on this tainted earth that you and I have to suffer. Pray for the living who are going through daily hell.

I'm sorry for your loss...
There are really no words to take away the pain. I don't know your religious beliefs...I am a Christian and I hope your friend was a Christian.
It is in my faith where I found peace when confronted by death.
I had a close family member die within the last year, someone I was very close with...and had it not been for the loving arms of Jesus to comfort me...I would have been a true basket case.
I know where my family member is right now...and they are so much better off with Jesus than here on earth. For them there are no more tears of sorrow...they can run on the streets of gold...they no longer live in this troubled world.
I suggest being around others (especially your friends' family and other friends) during your grieving process. It will help them and you.
Your friend has graduated...it's a time of celebration! I know that's a little different way of looking at it...
Celebrate your friends life...the sorrow and grieving is because they are gone from this earth. In Jesus, there are no good-byes.

Ask God to give you his comfort and his peace. He will, through the hug of a friend, or maybe someone here, or something else.
It's not wrong to grieve, but the grieving process takes some time.
Write down favorite memories that you have of this person, and remember that since God created him/her, it is his right to take him/her home.
