i feel as if i need to be here for some reason

Dear Shadow
The only way your will find out what the reason for your existence is to pray and seek God to show you.
I believe once a person begins to feel this way is because God is calling for your works. He wants you do something for him. So you need to answer his call!!!!!!!!!

Remember not everyone has the same gifts, but we use the talents that we have in whatever way we can to pray, witness, and share with others the good news that Jesus lived, died, and rose again for us to pay for all of our sins.
There is no higher purpose for our life. How wonderful the Lord entrusts his precious Word with you and me to share with the rest of the world. It is amazing that God can do his work through the clay vessels that we are. You can be a messenger of his wonderful love for us.

I tried to search an answer to this in my college days.
The more I tried to put in a box, the further I was from finding the answer.
Out of frustration I gave up.
Now, somehow I seem to know what I am here for.
Just stop searching you will soon find out.

we are all here for a reason .. both in this world and even these boards
we are always searching for questions, answers, knowledge ( or should be ) because that way we can understand each other and learn about ourself from these discussions
isnt that a great reason to be anywhere ?

The only reason you should have to make this world a peaceful. Don't start promoting hatred in the name of religion. Repect and tolerate all religious beliefs.

In my little opinion, I believe every person has a spirit. Before you were born you were near God but your spirit lacked some experiences that would bring you closer to God and so he sent you to this world to learn them on the flesh and this way improve your spirit. Therefore, anything you do in this life will affect your after life soul.

everyone has a purpose,no matter who they r. u never know what ur purpose is until u need 2. so dont worry about it 2 much much when u find ur purpose u will know. maybe u already have. and i want to thank u shadow 4 what u have done...ur getting thro to him..and i thank u for that. so maybe u have found ur prpose after all who knows. only time will tell.

To live life.... I'm pretty sure god wanted everyone to be happy, so to be happy, and maybe even to find love, but heck thats just my opinion. I agree with some people above me, but not the ones talking bout points.
