I have gotten answers that end in He’s a Godly President God Bless George Bush. If that is what you believe- great. But does a politician, namely this politician embody the spirit of your faith? Or for that matter should any public figure embody the spirit of your faith?

Umm, with 9/11, Katrina, Rita, Iraq, etc. on his record, how can you say God has not blessed him? He has made sure our nation hasn't had to worry about trivial things like "peace" and granted us plenty of disaster and war! These are the fruits of a truly virtuous man. God has poured out his blessings like congealed blood from an iron chalice and anointed him. For, as a rich man, he embodies what it takes to buy into the Kindgdom of our god Manaan.

I personally don't know what I think about religion but I believe that God, Budda or what ever religious figure you believe in should embody your faith not some human who is unworthy. I for one would not put an ounce of faith in a man who cares more about oil then all the starving children in the world. I would love it if there actually was a politician that I thought embodied God and Christ.. that would be wonderful.. because Jesus's whole thing was to love and be non-judgemental, hate the sin and not the sinner. ... so I don't think we'll ever see one.. especially not one that goes to War to add money to his and his friend's pockets or pushes his rules and points at what he choses right and wrong

no public political figure should embody the spirit of a faith........ it exhalts one ideal over others. should God bless George W. Bush? Yes, as He should all the world leaders, the people they serve and anyone else left out.

There is a seperation between politics and religion, almost all over the world.

Churches have nothing to tell, no voice in politics. This is the reason that the whole society is drenched in a bucket full of God.
