But more importantly, What if he isn't. What if God is who He says He is, and Jesus Christ His Son is Lord, and only through Him can you get to heaven? Jesus teaches you must be born again! We are all born with a sin nature, and even though God is a loving God, make no mistake, He is a righteous God who will not allow sin to enter into heaven. The whole purpose of what Jesus did for YOU on the Cross, was to enable a way for you to get to the Father. By acknowledging that you are a sinner, and asking Jesus to forgive you your sins and to be Lord and Savior of your life, you WILL receive the free gift of salvation, and become a new creature in Christ! The Spirit of God will then guide you in understanding the Bible, which is a manual for your new and eternal life in Christ. If your not sure, ask Him, who alone can save you. If you really want to know the truth, the Lord will show you the way. Read the gospel of John. It will walk you through Jesus' teachings. The Lord shine His Face upon you.
