"Judge not and thou shalt not be judged."

I'm in the company of people who pray constantly, and just the same, quick to judge other people severely. I noticed a peculiar similarity with all of them- they account so much what they do and, while concerned only about themselves foremost, slip into the activity of comparing themselves with others who don't do what they do. I've been wondering how, in all their devotion to the bible, could they miss that aspect of being that Jesus hated most- the Pharisees and the Scribes.

While studying social science, I also came upon the study of different religions. Subsequently, none of their founders are as dogmatic as their priests. Bigotry is indeed elusive just as religiosity is. Word and deed are two different things. For people who denied themselves the value of living life, those two are mistaken to be themselves, which, unfortunately also, are not both- only either of the two. Integrity is a virtue acquired after a long experience with ethics.

Well, isn't it easy, most of the time, for people to fall into the mistake of believing that their garments speak of who they are? Make-up business wouldn't have been lucrative if this isn't so.

Still, on one hand your observation could be true, and on the other, their accusations may also be indicative of the accused's ignorance of the values they need to acquire to be humane. But we cannot stop at this, perpetuation of hate, when the essence of growth and survival of the human specie is compassion.

Any person claiming Christianity who then refers to others as heathens and demons is no true Christian. There are many out there that claim Christianity who, on judgement day, will be told by Jesus, 'I do not know you'.

A person truly saved by the Grace of God and calling themselves Christian, looks on others with love in their heart. Realizing that were it not for the Grace of God, they would still be 'heathen or a demon'. We are all sinners, even those saved by Grace and a true believer wants everyone they meet to know the Love of God and freedom from guilt and sin they experience.

Be wary of any 'Christian' calling you names, they are the ones who are being deceived.

We can't change hearts that way -- which is why I don't refer to people as heathens and demons.

I've responded to many atheists in answers on this board, and never have I called them any such names.

For that matter, most Christians don't employ such name-calling either. What makes you think that we do?

It's a shame a religion teaches to "hate or dislike" others who do not believe in what they do. The only Heathens and demons are the ones teaching this to others.

Maybe they're trying to drive the demons out of the heathens?
To be honest, I think they're just in love of the sound of their own voices, and they believe they're winning a higher place in their heaven with all that preaching.

Because they want to feel better than you... Infidel!!! You don't seem to get that Heaven is an Exclusive Country Club for Christians only... Say one thing out of line to a Pentecostal, Baptist, Southern Baptist, Reform Baptist of 1850 or 1870, and you will find they have no place for you and your Devil Brood...

we do not think that each body non-Christians are non-believers in a author. besides the actuality that gave you the theory that we did? there are countless people in this international who believe in some style of author notwithstanding the bible (that is the e book by using which Christians are guided and fed spiritually) tells us obviously that that is faith in Jesus Christ and popularity that He bore the punishment for our sins on the bypass which make existence eternal with Christ plausible for us. those with beliefs in a diverse author or in God THE author yet no longer in His Son received't have their sins forgiven and could no longer spend eternity with Him. Christ got here to maintain as a present yet a present rejected is of little need to the may-be recipient.

Most Christian don't understand the true nature of Christianity which is to save lost souls from God's wrath. To answer your question, the people who name-call in the name of God don't understand the true nature of Christianity. Jesus never called non-believer names. He chastised the fake children of God (Pharisees)

Somewhere along the way, christians were conditioned to think that their way was the only way. It is not their fault. They were told to be that way. However, it is time for them to examine what they are doing and how they are treating people. But, this is an ongoing issue.
