**Guys... if you dont know the answer, dun just give anyhow answers. you guys are generalising people. stereotyping. Do u guys like to be stereotyped? pls, dun judge the whole community due to certain ppls' actions.

**Answering the question.
Its actuali dosent really matter that much. how they hold their hand in prayers have not much difference in term or meaning or reason. The reason for this is that the action is 'sunnah' means its not compulsary but its encouraged. There is also some people that hold their hands close to their heart during prayers. It depends on how they interprete it.

i'm not really sure, but maybe b/c shi'ites want to separate themselves from us. or perhaps the ahadith that say to place your hands across your stomache were narrated by omar or abu bakr or somebody else whose authority they do not accept. i don't really know, i am just speculating so please forgive me if i am incorrect in my assumptions.
