They say homosexuality is a lifestyle "choice". It would only stand to reason that heterosexuality must also be a lifestyle "choice".

Consider that when Christianity was first founded, it was in competition with several thousand pagan religions, many of which had very similiar doctrines, but there are at least two major doctrines that define what constitutes Idolatry, which Chrisitanity incorporated...anyone care to guess? sincerely

I've seen a few answers lately that imply STD's are what you get as a punishment for sexual immorality. Could there be any truth in this? Is there any correlation for any other disease(s) with other immoral behaviors that God would use them as a punishment? As far as I know, all STD's are caused by a pathogen naturally existing, in most cases originating in animals.

Unless you believe that Jesus died for our sins, please choose no to the question at the link. It could change your life forever (no joke)

Don't bother leaving answers like "you're a fool" "don't be so narrow minded" or anything like that, because whether or not this affects you it may have changed the life of one person out there, and that's all that matters to me.

God Bless, have a good life.

examples are apocraphal writings, Jehova witness books, morman book, Koran, Gnostic writings, The DiVinci Code, Scientology, etc.... It seems that every important religious book of the day contradicts with God's salvation plan in the bible. Why?

originated in ancient egypt. how does that make you feel about your faith? Kemet is the home of montheism, divine kingship, the promise of ressurection, the negative confessions( shortened to the ten commandments), immaculate conceptions, and the bible says that Jesus was crucified there and given an ancient egyptian burial.

"Non attachment" is often viewed as a higher state of being. However, in some cases being non attached to life events could be in contradiction with basic human survival. For example in the case of serious illness.

What are your thoughts on this?

Since God created the Heavens and the Earth and all things known to Man, and He is all knowing and doesn't make mistakes in His master plan...then when He created Adam and Eve he KNEW that the serpent (Satan/Lucifer) would tempt Eve AND that Adam would give in and take of the fruit of the Tree of Knowlege and relize that they were naked AND that He (God) would eventually banish Adam and Eve from Paradise (The Garden of Eden). If He knew all of this, then all of what happened after isn't Mans doing it's Gods. And if all of this were in God's Master Plan then what do you think of Him now?

How can you still be convinced that Earth was created in 7 days by a "God", when there is substantial and amazing evidence that shows a totally different theory which makes sense? How could God define a day when the 24 hour cycle was created by the Mesopatiums(excuse my spelling). I am really intrigued at how so many naive people there are, still believing in stories that make just as much sense as Santa Clause and the tooth fairy.

Basically i read the book of Revelations years ago and was confused about some of the things i saw, doubtful about others and apcepted some...
I always thought what if someone saw the future and told you that you are going to eat an orange tomorrow then knowledge of this would change the future because you wouldn't eat an orange the next day no matter what.
This does not seem to be the case as years ago i've seen where the final war of Armagedon was predicted and it was the world against Jerusalem, and we apparently can not stop this from happening even though we know this; its boiling right now just watch the news...i'll tell you why

Abraham had two sons Ismail and Isac their mothers had disputes and they seperated and Isac generations are Jews while Ismail generations are Muslims....
Muslims hate Jews and Jews hate Muslims, both believe in eye for an eye and both want to own Jerusalem more than anything else because its their Holy city.
This chain reaction seems endless.
