Apple juice is filtered in pigs fat as I found out yesterday. I didn't believe it, but I did a search on google and its aparently true.

This is sort of two different issues here. For Judism, you can't mix life and death, meaning no blood (or meat) may touch what gives life. So if pig's fat is used to filter the apple juice, then it would deffinetly not be kosher, and therefore not allowed. Some may argue that it could be kosher because it's only the fat, but I'd challenge anyone out there to find me a bottle of kosher anything, that has been filtered in pigs fat... Save your time, because you won't. For Muslims it's simply the fact that it is a swine. The swine is a detested creature, and no contact or consumption of it is allowed. So obviously the apple juice would not be allowed for Muslims either.
Of course as everone has said, if the apple juice is either un-filtered or is filtered using another method other than pigs fat, then it would likely be perfectly fine for both to drink.
I must say though, that I had never heard of pigs fat being used to filter apple juice... That sounds a bit gross to me.

Are you sure that is true...because apple juice is fairly low fat. I would think if it was filtered through pigs fat it would be a very fatty juice drink. Plus, certainly there would be better methods of filtration in this day and age.

Apple Juice is made from Apples..Anyways, we cannot eat ham unless it is kosher (Slit the neck of a Pig with a Sharp knife, no pain.) Pig fat is not meat, so yes we can drink apple juice.

first off, no, apple juice isn't filtered through pigs' fat
second, are you really so dumb as to believe it is?
third, yes, muslims and jews can drink apple juice. some don't because it is full of sugar and empty calories and it gives me the runs.

Pure Apple Juice as sold here in Chilliwack, BC Canada is definitely NOT Filtered at all.
It is though, sometimes mislabeled at Apple Cider.
It contains no alcohol it is false advertising.

if it is, then no. If it's not, then yes of course...you can get pure apple juice from your local grocery store...

im a muslim and yes we can only if its pure apple juice even in the quran or bible, allah donot want us to eat swine, not even touch it.
