I believe in Him fully, but it seems there are so many skeptics on Yahoo questions and Answers, we ought to give them some good reasons! I could list prayer after prayer He has answered, miraculous things that has happened that could not have been a coincidence, but let's hear from you!!

IF we are to accept the theory of evolution most People think it takes millions of years to happen. This is wrong. The length of evolution is directly linked to length between each generation and for noticible changes you require about 5000-50000 generations so for bacteria that reproduce every 20 mins this is about a year. My example of this is the super bugs, such as MRSA. When first exposed to antibiotics nearly all the bacteria will be wiped out. However one or two may survive when the course is not completed and these ones that survive will be because they were slightly better at resisting the effects of the anti-biotics. They reproduce and spread and are treated again and slightly more will survive again because they descend from the ones that were slightly better adapted. Repeat 1000's of times and eventually you end up with a 2 strains. those that arent resistant because they never encountered the antibiotics and those that are because they repeatedly encountered it

nothing is good or bad
thinking makes it so
do you agree
example:: a man shoots another man
where::you decide
why:: you decide
is there times when murder is a good thing
is there times when not in self-defence it is legal
is muder always a sin
the point is who are we to decide what is right
no one is right people only think they are right
what about war? is killing ok then? is it sin?
the bible has been hand copied for how long plus it has been edited.
do you know what god thinks is sin or do you only think you know?
think about it

for me, it is a way to get myself out of trouble -
everytime I've ever done something unpopular I get out of it by using Christianity. -----------
If i get caught doing something that people don't like. I just go "I'm a Christian" then I qoute some of the bible - then start acting all high and mighty and people just go "oh Ok and they shut up" ---
This is why i love Christianity -------------------
Why do you love it??????

Go to Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0800612442/sr=8-1/qid=1152741046/ref=sr_1_1/102-8251196-8466558?ie=UTF8)
or your local library, and get a copy of the book "A Marxist Looks At Jesus" by Milan Machoveč (titled "Jesus for Atheists" in German). Machoveč was a Czech atheist, and the book is a both a brilliant summary of objective historical-Jesus scholarship, and a profound appreciation of the universal significance of Jesus' teaching. Are you open-minded enough to read it?

Nothing but christians asking atheists why the sky is blue and atheists asking christians why god loves mangos. One or two other religions asking where mangos got their pits. Is there any reason why a person, atheist or whatever, really feels a need to put everyone else down? I mean, I figured that as long as you minded your own business, it didn't matter whether or not you thought there was a god. But obviously, everyone cares more about pointing fingers at the other and calling them a lier. This goes for athiests, christians, muslims, jews and the whole lot of you. Do you really think you accomplish something by acting just as obnoxious as everyone else? Am I the only one who notices this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

that i ask rather simple questions that have no right or wrong answers. they are right. i only ask (most of) my questions to promote thought and intelligent discussions. i try not to offend or judge (sometimes i fail) and i only hope thats the way my questions are viewed. if not i apoligize.

I am sick and fed up about questions being posted that degrade a religion...i even stooped to such a low level that in the spur of the moment i also created a question to get back at the people who insulted my faith....

If you did read that question...i'm sorry
But here's what i think about all religions when my head is calm and clear:
1) All religions promote peace
2) All religions promote love
3) All religions teach to help the less fortunate

Religion is a way of viewing a divine force that drives this earth in DIFFERENT WAYS...and all these paths (religions) lead to the same end (the force of the universe)

So if you believe in God - its Okay
If you believe in Allah - Its Okay
If you believe in Ram- thats fine too

I just really wanted to get these things off my chest after being called ignorant...im not ignorant and i love all religions around me: it's just that some posts that people make have really disturbed me

For example: Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

How did Jesus know this? Did he hear voices in his head from God or did Jesus just decide this was his purpose through some sixth sense?

This was part of a comment to another question:
"but humanity is too wicked for us to be even close to what God expects"
If God is not wicked, then how were we "wicked" humans supposedly created in his likeness?

Jesus is the way, the TRUTH, and the light. God lied when he said to Adam that if he ate from the tree of knowledge he would die. It was the Serpent who was truthful and told them what the fruit would do. He opened their eyes to good and evil. So was the Serpent really the evil one or was he maybe Jesus instead?
