Lots of murder, some hate crimes, rape (of Mary)...Do you think he would renounce the veracity of the Bible so it couldn't be used as evidence? Do you think he is partly liable for what happened to Job and his family? Probably guilty of terrorism and use of biological weapons. Big deal here, I bet they cover it on all the channels.

After all, the Quran says;

4:157 And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.

Which is, after all, an outright lie. Jesus was crucified as was witnessed by hundreds. So why would the Quran lie about that?
Of course since the Quran lies about so much, it's hardly surprising that this is included. You fear the REAL lord so very much that you'll say and do anything to steer people away from his light and towards the darkness and evil that is islam.
May God have mercy on your satanic souls...

If there was a religion that wasn't about prophets, Saviors, God and other stuff but just a series of rules for living a healthy live perhaps with the occasional story interpretation on the more difficult rules to make it more accesibly. I.e. by saying you are of the moral religion it could mean that
E.G.
1) We believe that the killing off a human that doesn't want to die is wrong
2) Stealing is wrong.
3) People have to right to enjoy their sexuality...

Pehaps not these rules but a simple set of codes that allow people to know what your world views roughly are?

I was reading the Bible randomly when i stumbled upon the verse Romans 8:29-30. This shows that churches are full of ****, teaching about some loving God. Ephesians 1:4-5, 11 also explains why God only loves the best of us...the rest of us losers, me included, are going to hell. Wish i was never born, screw church!

According to the believers, God cannot just forgive us. He has to murder his son first. He couldn't even forgive his son when he cried out "Father, why hast thou forsaken me"? What a terrible God this must be, as portrayed by the Christians!

This is serious. No finger pointing. Definately no assumptions what the bible was about. Here it is. It was always about us. Our ability to create. We are co-creators here on earth. Nature and Nurture helped alot but the creative link we call imagination is truly what this is about. If you want proof, learn how to travel out of body. There is no witchcraft involved. You can do it with the aid of modern technology. Check out hemisync or the monroe institute. You always knew your dreams an ideas lead you.to who you are. You know music can bring people together. It is because of frequencies and vibrations. Quantum physics shows us this. All we are is vibrations. Change the vibration, change the consciousness, You can learn this. Know for yourself. Personal experience is the key. See you at the campfire.

I was just wondering if the prerequisite for being a Bush supporter is that you are gullible and can't think for yourself or are there some Bush supporters who are actually able to question things and look for logical answers.

You have said that there are no atheists many times.

The definition of atheist is simple; not theist, i.e. one who does not believe in god.

By that definition I would say that every atheist here (including myself) must be an atheist for the simple reason we do not believe in god.

So how can you insist atheists do not exist?

I'm not just talking about religion but also, race, culture, customs and sexuality. Don't we all, as human beings, have the same basic wants, needs and desires? And what gives people the right to condemn those who don't have the same beliefs as they do?

Why then do christians agree with having a judicial system at all? Why punish someone if jesus forgives him already just by accepting his name? What incentive is there for people to not commit sins if someone else has already paid for their sins and they are saved by his name alone? Are you christians completely out of your mind? Can you think logically?

My Christian girlfriend told me that it is inappropriate for a Christian to date an atheist and thought herself wrong doing so. I thought it was ridiculously bullsh*t so I am hoping for some nice answers. Does the bible say anything like this? Why on earth would they outcast atheists? (It prompts me to think that this is some religious discrimination of some sort.)

I would like to hear from some of them. Please tell me do you feel closer to God when you spread hate for another (Whether we are right or wrong doesn't matter) Do you feel the spirit when you call our church leaders terrible names? Do you think Christ smiles when you point fingers and yell "CULT" at people who are excersing excising their constitutional right of freedom of religion? I just wanted to know. Please feel free to be honest you may find it refreshing.
