This is serious. No finger pointing. Definately no assumptions what the bible was about. Here it is. It was always about us. Our ability to create. We are co-creators here on earth. Nature and Nurture helped alot but the creative link we call imagination is truly what this is about. If you want proof, learn how to travel out of body. There is no witchcraft involved. You can do it with the aid of modern technology. Check out hemisync or the monroe institute. You always knew your dreams an ideas lead you.to who you are. You know music can bring people together. It is because of frequencies and vibrations. Quantum physics shows us this. All we are is vibrations. Change the vibration, change the consciousness, You can learn this. Know for yourself. Modern society and the teachings of the church have definately been an impediment on us regarding believing in our abilities, but I like your question. It makes a lot of sense.
It is in my own opinion a very spiritual idea and probably the most sensible item I have read here today. I like your style.
Keep me a space at the campfire please so I can discuss this with you in more detail.

YES, you can leave your Body LEGALLY through the HOLY SPIRIT.
My Wife is a Prophetess' , JESUS would take her through the OCEAN she said it was WONDERFUL, and walked on the Bottom of the Ocean. NOT in her Body, in the Spiritual REALM, Kingdom of GOD. HE controll's that REAM completely, that's why it's called the Kingdom of GOD.
VIBRATION's: a simple Note like "A"--440 cycle's per Second, goes out from it's source, inter-act's with its'self and produce's OCTAVE's all the way up to INFINITY---Yep, that's ONE WAY GOD hear's EVERYTHING. The BRAIN is capable of Producing these Vibration's too. In double's, triplicate's etc. If you start out with the Right BASE FREQUENCY, some-where up the Line of Octave's, you can PUMP energy into Atomic and Molecular particle's. Make's you think, if you a Scientific One.... Ditto.....
CAMPFIRE's: Love to get Family Together and roast Weiner's and Marshmellow's, if you got Magnolia TREE's near-by (with those BIG GREEN LEAVE'S) throw aliitle of those in the Fire, and watch the Fire-Work's. (don't set the Wood's on fire) Have fun, tell storie's and LAUGH. Later........

My abilities comes from the Lord. I have never stop believing in it.
He gives it and take it away when He wants.

Do U mean Dis-corporating & Transending?
Coz I wouldn't recommend it.
While UR out having fun, something else can move in.
It's a common problem with leaving UR body.

The majority of people are in tune with their abilities and lack of them. The different methods you describe are well known, but nothing replaces "common sense" or "natural instinct". Everybody is naturally gifted and encounters their own consciousness on a daily basis without the need of those methods mentioned. In fact, there has to be millions and millions of people on the face of this planet who have never heard of those methods, and yet are living very much in tune with their inner self. I don't know why, but your question reminded me of the movie.."Altered States". In the movie the main character was attempting something like you mentioned...altering his bio-rhythms or something like that. The outcome was not what he expected...in fact it nearly killed him, or it did kill him? I have to watch that movie again. Moral of the movie: Don't mess with your brain or you might awaken the primitive area of your grey-matter that has not progressed since the dawn of man!!!!

In answer to the question, I think most of us stop believing in our own abilities as children because adults drum it into our heads "You can't really do that." or "Thats not real."

I never stopped believing in my own abilities. But God gives me thoes abilities and I praise him for it!
