She will have to figure it out by herself!
Do not try to impose any ideas to her.

Tough question. God always was and is, with no beginning or end. I guess that, while he was on earth....he had a mary as a mother to raise him...but that when he was in heaven, he didn't need a mom or dad.
The bible doesnt cover, that I know of, what happens to animals. You can simply tell her that, if God put so much effort and work into designing a beautiful creation...ie, cat, dog .....that can be loving, affectionate.....that you can be sure that he has a special place for them when they die.
Simple truth is, and don't lie to her. People go to heaven or hell. If you're a christian....you believe that only people who've been saved through salvation will go into heaven. Nothing else but salvation through grace. It doesn't matter how nice a person is...if they don't accept God's free gift. That, if he died for it, the least you can do is accept it...
Sorry prob not much if any help....

Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. The divine understanding is blurred from our minds eyes because of sin but all will be revealed in the end.
Animals and people when they die rest in the ground - Daniel 12:2, however, only people will be raised from the dead on the day when Jesus returns. THere will be a resurrection as the Bible says in 1 Thessolonians, that is why there is a resurrection in the first place.
When Jesus was on earth and people died before he raised them from the dead he said that they were sleeping. If they were already in heaven and hell why would he bring them back to live and die again?
"All that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth." John 5:28, 29. "David ... is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day." "For David is not ascended into the heavens." Acts 2:29, 34. "If I wait, the grave is mine house." Job 17:13.
Answer: No, people do not go either to heaven or hell at death. They go to their graves to await the resurrection day.

God does not have a mother. God is the only God. He is the one constant. He was always there and will always be there. If there is something beyond or before God, it is too hard for our minds to grasp and it is unnecessary. We have to trust that God is the only thing we need and all we need to have knowledge of and faith in. When people die, they are judged by Christ and go to heaven and have eternal life if they have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those who have not may go to hell or may just die, never to live again, depending on God's will and your interpretation of scripture. When animals die, they go nowhere. They do not have souls, and they simply die.
I'm not sure a child could grasp the details set forth in the Bible and in Christian teachings. Her mind might turn it into something more upsetting than it actually is. It might really distress her to know that Fido won't go to heaven. Maybe you can come up with something easier for her to grasp, like "If we follow Jesus' teachings and love him with all our hearts, he will make sure we are taken care of and everything will be wonderful in the end, no matter what." Let her know that when a friend or family member dies, that person will be with her again in heaven because Jesus saves us from death.

There really isn't any good answer. The bible certainly doesn't have one.
Many christians just assume that god has been around forever - that he has no begining.
Of course, that doesn't make a whole lot of logical sense. But, because this is religion, it's a matter of faith, not a matter of reason or sense.

God is our Heavenly Father and we have a Heavenly Mother. Christ is literally our brother. We are all children of our Heavenly Parents. God was once a man on an "earth" and has been exalted to godhood. He came from his parents, they came from theirs and so on...
We can also become like God.

Pick up the book "Little Soul & the Sun" by Neale Donald Walsch...it is as excellent story that will not only explain much to your child, but to you as well...I sooo love when my kids asked for me to read this to them over & over again, because it also touched me every time...still does.

Since you don't know the answers to these questions (and neither does anyone else, truly), it might be best to be honest and tell her that these are good questions, but you don't have the answers.
