They are imperialist that invade tribes and corrupt their beliefs. Instead of taking land, they conquer culture and breed corruption by giving them tabbacco and stuff.

You dirty missionary scum need to stop destorying cultures. This Is Hitler's second coming do you agree?

but have absolutely no problem believing God always was and created everything. Personally I think if you're gonna say some mystical being always was that's much more far fetched than saying the universe always was. You're going to say then where did the universe come from, to which I'll reply where did God come from? When you can answer that one, you'll have the answer for your question.

God loves all of us. Hell is not supposed to be a place of torture. It's a place of Justice. Thoughs who were bad in this life get another chance instead of being tortued. God would not let us rot in Hell. God is a good spirit not an evil one.

When God is being qouted, God say us and we.
Genesis 1
26Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.
I next next verse, 27 - when the author speaks of God it refers to him as one.
Genesis 1
27So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. ------------
again in Genesis 3
22Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil.(etc etc)------."
-- I thought there was only one God, why is he saying "us"
---- and when the author speaks of him it is always "he" referring to only one God.

Why is this??

These abbreviations have to do with the Christ.

The logic is "a day or year can never be labelled or marked unless there was something that happened on that day."

Most history books use these abbreviations to pin-point a period or a year.

It is also amazing that an ordinary bible does use these abbreviations in their verses YET historians used them in their records of events.

It is also amazing that some of the historians who used these abbreviations did not even believe in the Christ. This sounds like they knew He was there yet they did not believe in Him.

I also hear that this year 2006 is actually 2006 A.D....

If Christ once existed, He must have been powerful person to make the whole world use His death or whatever as a marker for the counting of years.

So these abbreviations, it seems, settle the arguements about Christ's existence...

ARE THEY ACTUALLY SAYING THERE WAS ONCE A CHRIST?

What do you think guys?

thus TODD is the correct name for the son of god. and he must have become god because all things commanded to praise honour or laud HIM so see pronounciation of HIS name even in DEATH. AND french stop sign shows LARRET as other name they called HIM.

The christian philosophy seems to flip flop on the issue constantly. You have free will, but the devil made you do it. Jesus was destined by god to die for our sins, but he chose to die for us. Can you all make up your minds on the determinism vs. free will debate?

Disclaimer: Please read this at least 4 times, or at least read the entire question ONCE. This question was not meant to offend anyone, this question is for me (a very NON-religious person) tiring to understand another POV (Point of view), if you have a problem with that, please don't answer the question, and go watch Tom & Jerry...Or friends because I equally hate that show.

How exactly in the religious sense did the virgin Mary get pregnant? I heard somewhere that it actually might be a mistake in the actual translation of the bible, but none the less, how exactly did Mary get wtf owned by pregnancy if she wasn't having sex?

I actually posted this in the wrong category last time, eh sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention.

Why do Christians profess to love all people, and preach forgiveness, etc, yet they treat others (people not of their particular faith) with disrespect...and act as though the other people are stupid...and treat others "snobbishly", as if they are better than others?

Also, do Christians actually think that people of other faiths wake up each morning and say, "I know that my religion is the wrong one, but I choose to practice it just because I'm stubborn" ?

Don't Christians realize that this is how they project themselves to others, and that this is NOT proving to anyone that they are the "children of GOD" by acting like they are so much better and smarter than everyone else?

And I want to know more than "because the bible tells me so." Did your parents believe? Did you just listen to whatever they told you to? Have you thought outside your personal "box" as to whether or not it's actually the truth? Do you see religion and God as mythology that is believable or it just "is"?
