Disclaimer: Please read this at least 4 times, or at least read the entire question ONCE. This question was not meant to offend anyone, this question is for me (a very NON-religious person) tiring to understand another POV (Point of view), if you have a problem with that, please don't answer the question, and go watch Tom & Jerry...Or friends because I equally hate that show.
How exactly in the religious sense did the virgin Mary get pregnant? I heard somewhere that it actually might be a mistake in the actual translation of the bible, but none the less, how exactly did Mary get wtf owned by pregnancy if she wasn't having sex?
I actually posted this in the wrong category last time, eh sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention.

From the beginning of time, God knew He would create her. She is the masterpiece of humanity, "the llly among thorns." She is perfection in human form. She is spoken of again and again and again throughout the entire Bible. She is not God, but His human mother. She was born without sin (the rest of us were born with original sin on our souls).
At the Annunciation when the angel Gabriel appeared to her, he asked of her consent to the Immaculate Conception. She spoke that she was the handmaid of the Lord and let it be done unto her as the angel spoke. At that moment, the Holy Ghost placed Our Lord in her immaculate, virginal womb. God is capable of anything. I don't understand why this is so hard for people to believe. She never had any children after Jesus and never in her life did she have marital relations. She married Joseph and Joseph willingly accepted the role as foster father to Our Lord. He was a provider and a protector to both of them.

The event is called the Annunciation. I will give a little definition below, but the articles below really go in to it.

Mary was a virgin. The Angel Gabriel came down to her and asked her if she would be the mother of God. The Blessed Virgin then agreed. She was then made pregnant by the holy spirit in a way that did not compromise her virginity. When Christ was born, he was born in a manner that did not compromise her virginity. Mary always and always will be a virgin. She is called the ever virgin.
For this to be possible, Mary had to be born with out sin. This is called the immaculate conception.

Let me apoligize for my fellow Christians and Catholics if they got mad at you. I personally don't find the question offensive at all. ... " In ancient times, VIRGINITY described a state of independence or autonomy. It referred to a woman who made her own decisions. When used to describe Mary, it means she said yes to God of her own free will, acting independent of any influence or coercion" ... 'Virgin births' happenened in Greek myths as well ... Leda and the Swan (The god Zeus in Swan form.) Practicing Catholics and many Christians believe the 3rd part of the holy 'trinity' which is GOD in the form of the HOLY SPIRIT descended upon Mary and she became with child.

The problem with miracles is that they cannot be explained without God.
God created the universe and knows everything about it. I am sure that he had the knowledge and power to make a woman pregnant with a specific person.
