If you go around telling people they are going to hell than you can't really call your self a Christian.

I'm LDS too. I understand where you are coming from on this, but isn't this question just going to stir up even more anger and unrest? As a fellow "Mormon", I don't think that you should submit these type questions. It sounds as if you are just trying to ruffle someone's feathers. Please don't take this wrong, but it sounds pretty hypocritical because you are basically putting down and judging those who judge you. It is just like fighting with the protesters at Temple Square. It just causes even more problems even though you are defending your beliefs. Just turn the other cheek as Christ taught. We need to be the examples, not the adgitators. Please take this into consideration before you questions that could be offensive.

I am not a Christian, but I was raised Methodist, Baptist, and Catholic. Each of these branches uses the Bible to arrogantly decide that the others are hell-bound.
My cousins were all Mormons, until they hit adolescence. Then they tried to leave, and the church did a lot of really scary things to keep them. Most religions consider Mormons a wacky branch of Christianity. If you believe the Bible, then you probably can't be a Mormon, and if you believe the revelations of Smith, then you have to be a Mormon.
READ a lot more. Read about islam, hindu, jewish, buddhism, unitarianism, baptist, Kabbala, christianity, ba'hai and decide for yourself what you believe. Decide what you want to be your truth.
I have read a lot, and came to the conclusion that all Christianity was a based on lies and power-craving. I don't want to be a part of it. I am studying Buddhism at present for the lovely poetry and different world-view.
There are some lovely people who are Christians, and there are monsters. For the most part, Christians enjoy setting themselves up as judges of others, feeling superior for being saved, or dismissing non-believers somehow.
Who can say who will go to hell? What if there is no hell? Where will you go then? Of course, I don't believe in any hell, either, so that's nice.

Only God knows who is going to hell. I dont know why people would say Mormons are going to hell. Why would an entire religion be going? That doesn't even make sense. Even if a lot of the nonsense rumors about the church was true (like they have mulitple wives) you still couldn't say they were. The Mormons that I know try to live decent lives. They read the Bible, and love one another. I think people like to focus on others so they dont have to look inwards and focus on themselves. If they are truly Christian then they would not be judging others because Jesus did not set that kind of example. What was it that he said about casting the first stone?

Look, a lot of Christians just don't have the ministering spirit. They DO tend to be judgemental. And they feel a real need to spread the Good Word... the Truth.... they just don't know how. See, you may think someone is going to Hell, but you sure don't need to tell them that right off the bat. It should be left to good example, sewing seeds, and also a good understanding of the sin in judgemental attitudes. We are all sinners, we each daily make some type of mistake. Most people are in denial. They don't want to face their own faults and flaws. Take the log out of your eye first..... and remember that you will be judged in the same manner that you judged others.

So if someone is in imminent danger, and I warn them of it, I cannot call myself a Christian? What kind of logic is that? If someone who is a Christian has told you that you are in danger of hell because of your Mormon belief system, count them as a friend. They love you and are concerned for you. I have some news for you, JESUS CHRIST is Lord of ALL, and Joseph Smith was a false prophet. There, that's the truth. And what happens if you follow a false prophet? You follow him to the wrong destination, ie, hell. Read your Bible. It IS translated correctly. Get a good concordance, or go online to BibleGateway.com. Do your own research. And find out that God loves you and sent His Son to die in your place, not so that you could become a god unto yourself. Good luck.

Your religion does go against parts of the Christian Belief, so Christians do have a point. It's not really up to us to decide if someone else is going to hell or not, just go by what we know to be right or wrong I guess.

All I can say is kick back have a beer, maybe a nice cup of coffee and ponder the fact that your religion started fairly recently and you admit to writing your own book, and the mormon temple is just about as fanatical as the catholic church, and you don't keep the laws either, so mormon, christian, protestant, etc. all the daughters of the whore who sits on seven hills!!You're right there not going to heaven either anybody who continually breaks all the laws and teaches men to do so will not have life forever !!

As long as you are a Mormon, I am afraid you are going to hell. Mormonism is more a branch of free masonry than Christianity with loads of secrets

Your right, only God gets to decide that as most Christians ought to know. Just curious though, what do Mormons believe will happen to believers who are not Mormon? I understood that you believe there are different leaves of heaven? Do I have any idea what I am talking about?

I'm a Christian of the Catholic variety, but I don't go around telling people who aren't Christian that they are going to go to hell. That's in God's job description, not mine.
