Jesus could not have died for something that has never existed.
Sin did not exist when Jesus died, nor does it exist now.
This is a fictitious idea dreamed up to induce guilt and control people.
The moment you start to actually think about the idea of sin the whole concept falls apart and you wonder how you could had ever believed it at all.
Try it, think about the idea from a basis of logic and it quickly becomes apparent that the idea only exists in the minds of those who believe it is real.

Jesus died for our sins, he didn't come to remove it. Not yet at least. The one who created sin was Lucifer or as many know him as Satan. He dispises all the God has made and that is why he tempted Adam and Eve to give it all to him. Satan uses sin to bring down what God is doing and there will never be an end of it until Satan is destroyed.
What Jesus did is removed us from the curse that Adam caused and allowed us a way out from sin. We are no longer people full of sin living in sin. We are saints living in Christ with Christ in us.

Because the father of lies and sin is still among us, and still tempts everyone, even Christians. Jesus died because God knew there would always be sinning and all would need atonement.

Perhaps we ought to start out with what the real definition of the word "sin" is. The Greek word in the New Testament that is translated in English as "sin" is "hamartia", which literally means "missing the point." Unfortunately, Christians, amongst many others, are still missing the point.

I am afraid that you don't understand the Bible's teachings on the matter of sin. Complete eradication of all evil will not occur until the second coming of Jesus. Jesus' first coming was to take the punishment for our sins so that our relationship with God could be restored.

We are sinful creatures. We have a sin nature. Thankfully though, Jesus died so that the sins that we have and will commit can be forgiven. But they can only be forgiven if the sinner will accept Jesus as their Savior.

This is because sin entered the human race through Adam and Eve and we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. But if we are faithful he is willing and just to forgive us of our sin and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Christians don't have to suffer from sin though. If you accept Jesus in faith God will remember your sins no more.

Because we're still human...every sin I commit is washed by the blood of the lamb (Christ). I should never set out to sin, but it happens b/c I have a fallen nature. I could never enter Heaven before a Holy God without Christ (the perfect sacrifice) taking my sin away. God ONLY sees me as HOLY b/c of Christ. He WILL NOT be in the presence of sin.

The wages of sin is death. The last enemy under our feet is death.
Jesus rose up victorious over death. He has the keys to death & hell.
God is still God who gives us a choice to confess Jesus Christ the Lord of ones life, and to believe (heart faith) He paid the price for our sins & raised up from the dead. It is by grace we are saved, through faith, and not by works.
There are too many deceptions in the world. Too many just don't have the heart faith until they get less doubting & critical. Many do and overcome. Who is He that overcomes -- It is He that is born of God. And this is our victory -- our faith.
Christians have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. They love, trust & obey Jesus Christ. If they do sin, they have and advocate to God, Jesus Christ the righteous. So, If we confess our sin, He is just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (sin).
Jesus blood covers the christian's unkown sin. Those sins one willfully disobey God in are delt with by God. Who is our judge = God. God will not be mocked, we reap what we sow. Still are consequenses to sins. Sometimes that might mean dieing early. Of course still get to Heaven but with little reward.
The devil is still tempting everyone to sin. People choose whether to submit to God, resist Satan & Satan flees or to listen to Satan and rebell against God (resist God).
Sin is just disobeying God or going against His purpose. The sin the Holy Spirit convicts the world of (Those not believing in Jesus.) is not believing in the Son of God, the cross (sin atonement) & resurrection. The sins God convicts the christian of is whatever God is working on in that particular individual. Usually it has something to do with not trusting & obeying God in some area.
During the 1000 year reign of Christ sin is less prevelent and people live long lives. Satan gets let loose from the abyss & decieves the world again where God defeats Satan and throws Him in the lake of fire. Sin is in this world till the last enemy, death & hell is thrown into the lake of fire.
Then there is a new or renewed heaven & earth. After God has delt with sin & destruction of His creation completely.
